Road trip completed, everyone's well back home. The Bronco is a surprisingly good traveler! A couple of 10 hour days behind the wheel as I dawdled thru the Southeast and Midwest. Stats on P-metric 285/70's, 85% non-interstate roads. 48.5 mph avg for the math folks, cruising in 5th gear @2300-2500 rpm.

BONUS FUN: Find the 'national treasure' in the pic below:

(In Corbin, KY. An interesting museum full of Col. Sanders info and artifacts! The chicken was ok, but my vote is for the vintage Airstream trailer beyond the parking lot)

How do you like the SAS fir road trips and put and about town driving?
5 months and just under 10k miles, daily driver and road tripper.
Around town it's a blast.
On the interstate, it isn't bad... not great but good. The wind pushes the 2 door around a little.
But on the 2 lane backroads, where I prefer to drive, it is amazing.
I will jump on secondary roads and drive for hours, just for fun.

Anyone done the Off-Roadeo yet? Looking into TX but seems they are only running them Fri and Sat until Sept (no bookings at any of the sites past early Sept). Wondering if the investment in a flight, hotel, etc. is worth the trip.

Anybody know if this would work as a lift for a 4 door Bronco? RollnJack Hard Top Removal Lift for Jeep Wrangler

Ford Bronco HERITAGE EDITION Bronco Club 20240409_162538
I haven't tried mine yet on the Bronco, but I do have one of these and have used it for my Jeep. I don't see any reason why it won't work on the Bronco too.

For the 4 door Wrangler, it comes with an extension to reach out to the part that covers the back seat. Since the 4 door Bronco has a separate panel over the back seats, that extension won't be needed. Just use the recommendations for a 2 door Wrangler on the 4 door Bronco.

Same love the secondary state highways.

I opted for a flight to NH, was a blast. The course seem more like the trails in the Orzarks.

I live fairly close by the ranch they do the TX off-roadeo at. My wife and I had a blast when we did it a couple years ago. If you make a full trip out of it, there are a ton of things to do around central Texas to get a full vacation in. You can DM me if you want to chat more about it and I can into detail. If you like drinking and the world's best BBQ and outdoor things, you'll be in an awesome spot.

Some dealers are allocated two HLEs. The HLE total will be 3,932 but only 2,895 dealers in US.

I was thinking with those big ass tires and portals, you wouldn't even touch the mud!

PS: I hate mudding these days. It was fun when I was younger. I really hate washing cars now days.
