I hear it as well. Slight throttle and it sounds like rod knock. I guess it's normal since so many of us are hearing the same thing. Either normal or Ford has a very expensive recall coming soon.

2022 F-150 Raptor for a 2023 Wildtrac

I can't help loving the V8 sound! Raised driving many F150s with 302s and 351s. I traded my v8 2014 F150 in for a Raptor F150 and although the Raptor was a much better truck with a lot more power, I missed the sound of the 5.0l. The 2.7 makes good power and I have nothing to complain about...

I held off buying a Bronco in hopes of an old school 302/5.0L v8 Bronco. I failed. I test drove a wildtrak while I had my Raptor F-150 in for service and I traded that day. I love the current Bronco but if it had a 302, it would check all the boxes! I pray this happens soon!
