    I feel for you and hope you can force them to stick to what you agreed with them. I knew Lindsay Ford was untrustworthy the moment I first contacted them to ask how they would price the car if I would order through them and received a weasely answer. Needles to say I didn’t order through them.

    I would take my 2-door Bronco now without any top, and order the aftermarket Best top softtop with it; I was going to do that anyway, for the summer. Happy to wait for the hard top to come later! Unlikely to happen, I get it, but I am certainly not the only one who would do this.

  15. Compared to a Defender - some general thoughts and concerns.

    If you are worried about depreciation and reliability with the Defender and want something else than the Bronco, consider a (used) Mercedes G-class. I am a fan of the more spartan models but would not consider one because I want to be able to drive without the top.
