This presupposes it was “uphill” at some point. I’ve owned many Ford products ranging in years from 1986 to now 2024. Same BS. My Bronco has areas with poor paint coverage, debris in the paint, areas where the metal had contaminants or poor finish, but was painted anyway. Some are in discrete...
I have never owned a truck or SUV before the Bronco, and have driven very few. I find it’s on road manners completely acceptable. I don’t think I’d go to autocross with it, but it doesn’t feel like it’s going to flip over on spirited turns
I can’t recall the company but someone makes sheep skin covers for car seats. I’ve used them for all my cars going back 20-some years. They really keep you cool and protect the seat. Don’t have them yet for the Bronco but soon enough.
+1 for dealer paints. They are more money but you know they’re the right color, albeit a bit thick.
Applicators are garbage (but that’s the same for all touch ups).
24 BL non sas owner here. A “too harsh” ride is subjective. I came from a civic Si which was incredibly stiff, so the Bronco feels like a much smoother ride to me. You can always buy other shocks if the ride is not to your liking.
With respect to the differences, in addition to your mentions...
Looks like the fit is good. He says in the video the factory washout floor “is garbage” but lists no actual complaints. I wonder what issues there are with it and how this product is superior to the factory vinyl flooring.
there are some interior changes. I believe rear cup holders and the dash stitching.
As for mechanical, as stated earlier the upgraded steering rack is a pretty big plus. I can’t recall whether the 23 badlands had bilstein shocks on non sas models.
i know my 24 BL has a steel rear bumper, not...
The analog gauge is such a waste of space. Driving with my left hand on the top of the wheel blocks it from my view anyway.
I just can’t understand what thinking was putting both a digital and analog one
I went with the 2.7. The 2.3 is a fine engine and gearing makes it move this massive brick quite well. My only real criticism of it is that it doesn't have port injection, so the valves and intakes will get foul after a while (purportedly this is going to change).
I had this happen yesterday but on the driver rear driver side. For some reason my window got out of alignment. If you were to open the door, it wouldn’t go down that bit it does. Instead it was just always a little below the seal, even at full up.
Doing a window reset fixed it.
I definitely feel this. My family has owned many, many Ford products, all lemons. Two mustangs, a mercury Capri, a jaguar X type, and others. They were all literal junk.
After my wife bought a new mustang I felt like the Ford quality had improved from my 80s and 90s models and so went for the...
