  1. Non-sas suspension upgrades?

I did Badlands NON-SAS take-offs & love it! Just better in every comparison, as well as a slight lift from the factory Hitachi shocks. I do not do rock crawling, but I am sure a stock Badlands is very capable straight from the factory? Let us know what you end up doing?
  2. Sasquatch Tire conundrum

    TOYO.
  3. Rear ended on Sunday :( $20K repair estimate! [Update: TOTALED]

Sucks, but I am thankful you & your passengers were not killed!! That guy should be put in jail. I hope you can find another Bronco to love, soon!! Heal up & Lawyer up, soon!!
  4. Ford QC gone down hill...

I waited 16 months for my Base Model. I wonder how much longer the Braptor delivery would be delayed for the factory to catch & correct your issue? One would hope 10 minutes, but alas....just send it & hope no one ever finds it? 🤦‍♂️ I hope it gets handled quickly for you!!
  5. Would you Revert to Old Times?

Well, I guess we will never know what a 2000-2017 Ford Bronco was, as they were discontinued after 1996. I had my share of issues with my 1979 & my 1992 Broncos, so I am just thrilled with what my 2022 Bronco Base model is for me. A/C, cruise control, power windows, back-up camera, auto...
  6. Manny tranny owners, would you do it again?

I sold my G56 Manual 2016 Ram 2500 Laramie Cummins as soon as I saw the 7MT being an option was leaked! If no Manual was being offered, I was not interested. So, YES I would get a manual again every time!!!!
  7. Affordable basic transportation models for 4x4 vehicles

The Broncos of which you speak are now more expensive than my base model! 😉 Maybe look for some old military vehicles in an auction at gov't surplus, or whatever it is?
  8. KO3 vs KO2 Tires Comparison Look and Technical Analysis

I am not totally a BFG hater, just a bit underwhelmed with my last set of K02s? I went with the Toyo RT Trail & will continue to do so. Toyo are great tires & usually offer a better range in available size options. IMHO & YMMV! 😉
  9. In LOVE with the Bronco! Want to leave car...

I bought a 2021 VW Golf in order to have a car while I waited 16 months for my Bronco. I traded it in on my Bronco & have never been happier! I lost about 15-20 mpg with my Bronco, but I DO NOT CARE!! My Bronco drives great & Goes Over All Terrain / pot holes, curbs, speed bumps etc. Do what...
  10. Fake Squatch Help

The Hitachi shocks are crap. My advice is to scan the Marketplace here for SAS take-offs, or just DM Migo for his take-offs. You will love the way your Black Diamond drives with the Bilsteins! Enjoy your mods.....Once you start, you just keep going!!!(y)
  11. Top 4 Mickey Thompson Baja Tires

    I love those 255/85R17E!
  12. Upgraded from Base Model Hitachi Shocks to Badlands Non-SAS Bilsteins. Before & After Photos 👍

I believe there is, as well as Manual vs Automatic Transmissions. Likely due to weight? I am pretty sure it has been addressed by folks on this site who are much more knowledgeable than I am. That is where I learned what I needed to know before buying take offs...
  13. Upgraded from Base Model Hitachi Shocks to Badlands Non-SAS Bilsteins. Before & After Photos 👍

I bought the shocks, stored them at the tire shop I use for everything, then got the install done 6 months later when I had the cash! ;)
  14. Upgraded from Base Model Hitachi Shocks to Badlands Non-SAS Bilsteins. Before & After Photos 👍

That is a much better deal than the $2100 on the Ford Performance site! I was just not really wanting to go up to 35" tires, so I just loved the idea of getting around 1" lift with the NON-SAS Badlands shocks.
  15. Old School Reference Books

I used to carry rotor pins, distributor caps & spark plug wires in my 1979 at all times! Any source for reference was basically whatever we could find 30 years ago. I am extremely thankful for this site, as well as YouTube these days! ;)
  16. Upgraded from Base Model Hitachi Shocks to Badlands Non-SAS Bilsteins. Before & After Photos 👍

Thank-you, I love it too! These are the 17" Black Diamond Steel Wheels. I bought them from another member on here in Marketplace.
  17. Upgraded from Base Model Hitachi Shocks to Badlands Non-SAS Bilsteins. Before & After Photos 👍

Yep! I saw the price for the Ford Performance shocks that add 2" lift for $2100. I was able to buy a set of take offs & have my tire shop do the installation for less than that all together! Plus, I do not want a 2" lift, just a factory Badlands Non-SAS stance!
  18. Upgraded from Base Model Hitachi Shocks to Badlands Non-SAS Bilsteins. Before & After Photos 👍

I will admit to not being the best photographer I know! *Before picture taken 20OCT2023 & After picture taken 14MAR2024, so same spot, just different sun angles due to different seasons Fall/Spring.* I had originally ordered Bilstein 5100 shocks a few years ago, but my preferred tire...
