Ah good to know I wasn't the only one. I'll see if I can get my hand in there and give them a little bend too. (y) I ended up not listening to some of the instructions and reused some of the oem hardware for mounting the cooler and bracket . I also feel like if I were to do it again I could...
Yeah I still gotta make the wires and I like making them the exact length they need to be so it would be nice to be able to make them with the cradle in place.
I finished the relocation yesterday and goddamn talk about putting 10 lbs of shit into a 5 lb box.
Did you have issue with the solid...
It looks like they probably could have made it bigger but were taking into account soft top lift. For my hard top with the tilt function it would have been cool to get those extra couple of inches.
Yeah this is purely for recovery gear storage. I noticed on my last camping trip I need much better organization and the attic shelf is perfect because it doesn't interfere with my fridge lid.
Well this is perfect timing to stumble across this. Literally asked how people we handling the louvers in the other thread yesterday.
Got to this point last night, still gotta grind everything flush.

So a lot of these trails are part of the Shenandoah and Allegheny overland loop which is a fun loop to do with some MAJOR water crossings. But the road with this one is here:

Ha I was thinking the same watching the video. I was waiting for a pivot on the drivers side but he never needed to.
Love the solo stuff too, I go solo a lot with my son and as long as you know what you are doing you usually are fine.
I got stuck solo 2 weeks ago ha.

Ha yeah I just heard of peoples MPG's being better after the pro cal tune so I was curious. I know it's definitely not the purpose of the tune but I was considering a tune to help offset the MPG loss that comes from all the broverland additions.
The next day we did a big loop that took us through a bunch of water crossings and up some dirt switch backs.

Ironically I actually never notice it's there. I def expected to smash my shins on it a bunch though.
Took my son to do some trails down in Virginia for his first multi day offroad camping trip. They all were trails I have done before a couple times in the Tacoma so I wasn't super concerned...
The D rating with a beefier sidewall appeals to me. I run S/t Maxx's on my Tacoma and the stiff sidewall has held up to years of abuse but I need to run 10ish psi to get it there and it took a while to break in. Not to mention the E rating made them significantly heavier.
