Thanks! Be nice if someone in the aftermarket world made something similar to mount accessories to the oem roof rack but sometimes you gotta build your own.
Sorry i got rid of all my templates but i just went around and measured the side rail with a micrometer then bent some 1.5” flat stock and decided where i wanted the awning to sit on the brackets.
Hey guys, figured i would share the pictures of the awning mounts i fabricated for the oem roof rack, they turned out very nice and are super sturdy. The awning i have is 50lbs so not a light unit but the mounts are rock solid.
Not really setup for any kind of production stuff, I mostly posted this as an idea for people looking to mount things to the roof rack. I’m just a one man band in a small garage lol. I wouldn’t mind helping a few people out with a set if everything turns out good but I’m also in Canada so...

Kc bronco is this still working good? I am upgrading the rear pods to 6.5 mabett pods and was thinking of doing this as well and came across this post. So you had to redo the learning with the microphone?
I have a full washout floor for my 2 door sitting in my shed, haven’t tackled the install yet as it seems really daunting to install, so I’m guessing remove all seats and inside panels?
Not a mall crawler its a overlanding/daily driver, but for 3200$ (Canada) I’d rather put the scratches on it myself. Not a fan of paying that much money for the scratch and dent sale model.
Got my ARB Summit bumper yesterday from a semi local offroad shop, took it home and unpackaged it. awesome looking bumper and can’t wait to install it but it cam with some shipping damage. Don’t know why these companies can’t figure out shipping seems like everything i buy come pre damaged.
