I just sent them an email describing the problem. Mine didnt have a set screw either but I can see the fitment on the stick isnt right since it moves around slightly when installed and screwed down. Thanks!
Yep, I notice it as well. I bought the white knob with the grill patern and love it but the adpter on mine has too much play on the stick. Screw is down tight but the adapter moves a little so I just removed it altogether. I think I'll see if they can send another.
The gas cylinder on the passenger side for the assisted lift froze up on mine and they want $1200 for it. I can find a new used soft top for as low as $600. For now though, with it off I can put the top up and down as I want but it does make it more difficult to do.
I had this wireless charger for another vehicle but ended up finding the arm around my house and luckily it worked out holding my phone (Fold 4). The wireless charger works great, it has motorized arms that close and open.
I bought a used low mileage BB with manual, 4.46, 2.3, wash out floors and so far all is well. Except for the dang soft top being a pain in the ass but other than that I'm happy. Sometimes their better broken in....
I recieved the gas cylinder from the seller on Ebay today and immediatley returned it. Turns out, the description the seller put on the ad was wrong (possibly on purpose) and listed it as for the soft top when in actuallity it was for the hard top rear glass or so thats what it looks like to me...
I do have it in my Bronco but not exactly on my dash haha. I guess it's just not my thing to line those up like that. I see a bunch of Jeeps around here like that but I have yet to see a Bronco with these although they do wave at times. Is waving a Bronco thing too?
The dealer offered the 3rd party extended warranty for almost another $100 a month but when you look at how many loan payments that is, it's up really quick and then your overpaying for the warranty. Most of it is just profit unless you have a major mechanical issue. I've also seen some horror...
I was very specific when I inquired into the extended warranty and was told it would not void the factory powertrain warranty nor extend it beyond what I was purchasing. My thinking was, it would extend it up 96k or 2029 but apparently that's not the case from what I was told.
With my 21, I bought it used just out of bumper to bumper but with a couple years left on the powertrain warranty. I checked with Granger and all they would offer is the premium care extended warranty for 3/36 for a little over $1600. The thing was though, it would begin immediately but would...
I bought this mesh off Amazon for a great price. It's a tight fit, cuts the sunlight down some but leaves plenty of air flow and does not flap around at high speeds. As far as a canvas goes, it totally defeats the purpose of a convertible top in my opinion. Good thing is, you don't have to take...
Yea, thats crazy. I can buy a nearly new soft top for under $1k on FB marketplace. Luckily it doesnt impede putting the top up or down but it does make it difficult to do. Left a few nice scratches on the bars.
The part number on the gas cylinder is no good...I found the correct one. Link if anybody might need one..

Now the question is if its covered by my Blue Advantage warranty.....I'm sure not going to pay the $1200 the...
Talking to Ford parts dept, I was told that they do not have any in the field or replacements at all. I find it funny for a vehicle that's been around for 3 years now there'd be a replacement for this. I'll have to take a trip over to JC Lewis tomorrow.
So the passenger lift support / gas strut on my soft top is frozen up. No amount of pressure will get it to budge. I looked up the part number on the strut but to no avail. I can't seem to find the correct number anywhere. Does anyone have a number for it? Thanks!
