  1. For those who haven't bought your Bronco yet...

It has to be a lawyer button. In all the automatics I have had, including the one I have in an old car with an 88 AOD, this crazy delay was not present. It has all the fingerprints the nanny state, you know, The people responsible for pictures like this in manuals. I realized it happening in...
  2. For those who haven't bought your Bronco yet...

That about covers it. I just find it easier to ask a question to get answers from people who have been driving it in real world situations for a while, rather than some magazine article comparisons. Or using the search options and hoping to find the best thread. I thought "for those of you...
  3. Are dealers still selling at MSRP?

Seems the case. Good thing is I don't need it, just something I wanted. But not that much. LOL. I think I will just wait to the economy hits the brick wall it is running towards.
  4. Uncomfortable front seats! What is the solution?

It's an afternoon job. You basically remove the covers over your seat tracks and hardware. Remove the front bolts (might have to loosen the rear bolts to tip the seat), put spacers over the corresponding holes between them and the rails, then bolt the seat back down using the longer bolts.
  5. Are dealers still selling at MSRP?

OMG, they wonder why they are losing market share. I just found another BB and this dealershit just sent me a quote with "this vehicle has had ceramic coating applied" and thinks I am dumb enough to pay 13 hundred for a wax job. That would be a different type of "job". I am thinking it is...
  6. For those who haven't bought your Bronco yet...

I am curious about the 2.3L I-4 owners. I know this will sound nuts, but I hate that 'power symbol' head light configuration on the other models and I am looking at a Big Bend in 2 doors. The 2.3L seems like the prevalent engine in all I have seen.
  7. Uncomfortable front seats! What is the solution?

Same issue with my F150. The seats are too flat. Up in front, down in back is better for the nerves as it puts most of the weight right on your arse where it needs to be. Especially if you are not a Kardashian. Think of sitting on an Adirondack style chair vs a picnic table bench. I can go...
  8. For those who haven't bought your Bronco yet...

How is the EcoBoost? I have a regular V6 in my 16 F150 and the I4 I test drove seemed on par (as much as one can gather driving for 15 minutes) at least and a wee peppier. The PU has that step on gas "let's see if he really meant to do that" lawyer delay throttle response I HATE.
  9. Buying a Bronco from Michigan and driving it home to Alabama. How can I prevent future rust?

Wash it well. Wire off any rust flake it has (might not yet), treat it with a rust converter product and you should be fine since it won't be going through yearly salt baths anymore.
  10. F O R D letters for grille?

Bigred86, Very nice. I don't know why they just don't produce those with a solid smooth center section so one does not need those grooved rectangles. Would look more like a 66-77 grille. Then they can offer letters in any configuration and attach them with 3M auto trim tape.
  11. Are dealers still selling at MSRP?

What has this world come to? I have not bought a new Ford since 2016. I went to buy a new vehicle about a year ago and was told there was a "dealer premium" on a Bronco they had because they are so 'popular' of course that begs the question why it has been on the lot for over 2 months. Anyway...
  12. F O R D letters for grille?

I was just emailing the company and he got right back to me. They have an option that is not up yet for a full length smooth filler piece that you can then add letters to so it will really look retro. All that is needed is square amber lights! I plan on painting mine white with black FORD in...
  13. F O R D letters for grille?

Thanks, that is a great option.
  14. F O R D letters for grille?

Has anyone made the letters F & D yet, as well as a solid rectangle shape to fill in the gap left by the B and the second O? With that installed on a grille it would look killer. Especially painted body color with black letters.
