Huh, cool info - I had #231 but I cancelled as I had my BL build notice come through the week before. As it turned out, of course, the HE was delayed/delayed/delayed and by the time build time actually rolled around I could have bought both per my original plan. No regerts, though, love my BL...
Yup, in short it's possible to mod the enclosure to force-fit a speaker that then may not be a good match for the available displacement and also may not pair well with that amp . . . but other than that Mrs. Lincoln thought the play was a smash! :devilish:
Interesting. Have not experienced that. I have Auto-HVAC set to 72, always, and *HAVE* been in traffic where engine kicks back on from off to (I assume) maintain A/C but I've never had A/C shut off. That's a behavior that would bother me but, like I said, never happened for me. Wonder what...
Never had auto stop/start before and had some degree of trepidation about it going in but, now that I have had the truck for a while, I have to say it's made no difference worth noting to me. I don't get what gets everyone's panties into such a tight bind on this but to each their own I say. I...
Q1 - the wiring is in place, mostly. Not knowing the specific subwoofer you intend to install to replace the stock non-functional unit delivered with your vehicle - and assuming you will NOT be sourcing a functional OEM unit to drop in - the wiring FROM the amp to the subwoofer will need to be...
Question for those that have replaced/upgraded the SDARS fake sub to the Kicker 6.75" sub. How did you end up fastening it to the enclosure? I've got everything lined up ("Fusion" amp and Kicker 48CWRT674) and sitting in my LR now but as the Kicker doesn't come with any fasteners . . . are you...
CLD isn't intended to reduce road noise so your results are consistent with what one would expect.
@BlarnetyStoned still kicking myself over not pulling the trigger on the Resonix moving sale. Hope you have time to take photos and share your install.
This is the link I used last week to buy the amp from TeamEquip; shipped promptly and is sitting with other stuff waiting to be installed (by me).

I'm also interested to hear how people are sealing the port on the stock enclosure. I'm hoping the Bronco community has something slightly more sophisticated than the "I stuffed some socks into it" method that Google has led me to elsewhere.
The last I had heard one of the key limitations in SAS availability had been the supply of the GY Territories. Don't recall hearing anything about the axles; those same axles are delivered in models with and without the SAS option so I'm kind of doubting that's a limitation but, of course...
Look up at the top of your screen and in between "CLUBS" and "BUILDS" you should see "TRACKERS" with a little globe-like icon. Click on that. One of the first url's there will take you to a post that includes deciphering window stickers.
