The shelf is fully removable and there are just 5 easy screws to remove... Check out the video I posted a couple of posts up...

Hmm. I might try it. Far from ideal for accessing a safe, but at least it can be done.

Apologies for the delay, but mother's day...

Okay, this is an easy install. Unfortunately it came damaged from shipping, but I've already reached out to Mabett and they're making it right.

Okay, now to everyone's most pressing question, including mine...

Does the shelf/table completely remove? YES!

Does this allow access to the jack? Kind of...

Now, I know that won't satisfy many of you. For me, I plan to tinker with it. I will also make a video to demonstrate how to better access jack and storage. Could the design be improved? Sure.

If you're someone who accesses or uses the storage all the time, you should wait for a redesign.

If you only need to access for when you've got a flat, the rare occasion will already require a lot of work (I've had to change a flat already). And this will only require removal of 5 screws/bolts to gain full access (my theory). Will demonstrate in a video.

Overall, I like it. I'm satisfied. And with the discount/refund for shipping damage, I'm all good. I'm covering the damage with my cargo mat, because it would've gotten scratched anyway.

Do you think a slim subwoofer would fit underneath it towards the back seat? Like a 7” tall slim one.

No, this goes all the way to the back of the cargo. It could rest on top?

Like clearance between the bottom of the shelf and the actual floor of the cargo area. On top kills my cargo storage room.

He is asking for the space between the mounting and where the floor is, (space where the jack and storage pocket is). The Ford solution has enough room where something thin can be mounted underneath the floor. I guess he is trying to see if a shallow mount sub can go there.

Any way to add this slide out either under or on top of the ford cargo drawer. love the ability to have both.
