Anyone have this happen? I was wiping down the engine bay after 16 days after taking delivery, and I've only opened the hood twice so far, the black trim between the windshield and hood seems to have some broken clips, when the hood is lifted open it snags and this plastic trim pops out even further. Trying to get ahold of my dealer, it seems like this may not have been clipped in properly to begin with and maybe damaged the clips when the hood was opened? Driver side washer fluid sprayer is also on this piece of trim, not looking forward to buying a new part, as I've tried bending the clips back slightly so they don't break but they aren't engaging in place.. Grrr

Thanks, I'll search around the forum then, I didn't even bother yet to look for this issue I guess because I'm a bit frustrated, got the engine bay clear from dust from sitting on ice mountain finally, then this happens haha!

Warranty issue. Make them fix it.
Just emailed my sales rep, every time I call my service department I get a voicemail. Will leave another message now I guess.

Wonderful, thank you, especially for the quick response! I'll be digging into this deeper today. Hopefully places like IAG can produce a replacement, as I would buy it in a heartbeat than try to deal with my dealership on getting a fix from Ford, haha!

Thanks again!
I don't know if they were able to make a fix, i just heard they were working on one.

Definitely it's a known issue, something that warranty should cover
