At 5:40 into their video they lift the Bronco by this tire carrier… I think it’ll hold a lot of weight.

I have one and it’s awesome and great quality!

this doesn’t test how much weight it supports when opened. When closed there’s a lot of structural rigidity added by the tailgate lock and frame.

I guess the question is what happens if you exceed the rating on the hinges? Everyone says the stock hinges are rated only for 133 lbs but I have like 230-250lbs of weight on my hinges and it’s holding strong with a Hammer Built tailgate reinforcement… no sag, no crunches, no flex
This is good info. Sounds like the reinforcement plate upgrade can get you up to 100lbs more weight over stock.
