4runnerNice, I've been using the heck out of my Gobi rack on the 4Runner
Look great!!! but with my 35's, I wont clear the top clearance of my garage
Who has a 12' ceiling in the garage? Well, besides you. WOW.Assuming from your initial posts it will function similarly to this? Referring to the rack lifting back to remove hard top shell. Big question - can you put soft top fully down position and then put the rack in place over it?
Also assuming front panels (and middle for 4DR) are removable while in place.
By the look of the waviness of the top it looks like a soft top. or a first gen MIC.Do I see a vertical bar coming down the back meaning it would be compatible with soft tops?
I don't see any cross bars atm. does this mean they can be removed to use the top?
That’s not me. Haha. Just researching Gobi mechanics on YouTube.Who has a 12' ceiling in the garage? Well, besides you. WOW.
Nice work on the system you set up.
Yeah. That’s a concern. Really with any rack. That’s why it’s imperative that I choose a rack that’s easily mountable and removable for winter since that’s when it goes in the garage. It barely fits. Just installed door opener to hold it above the header - but tire/suspension upgrade is going to cut it very close.Look great!!! but with my 35's, I wont clear the top clearance of my garage
They’ve confirmed the same rack will work for hard and soft tops in previous posts. The debate is top functionality…Do I see a vertical bar coming down the back meaning it would be compatible with soft tops?
Why does every company feel the need to come one here and post 'teasers'?
Killer setup. What are those load boxes you have and do they keep the elements out?Nice, I've been using the heck out of my Gobi rack on the 4Runner
