  2. Leaked Image Shows 2020 Ford Bronco Silhouette Behind the Baby Bronco

What are you talking about? Did you even read the first post? The Bronco hasn't been shown yet and you can only tell its shape in the shadow on the wall... which I think looks pretty promising.
  3. Price of 2020 Bronco

Yea no wonder you see so many auto companies doggedly sticking to pricing even in the face of declining sales for a certain model. Know any Ford beancounters? Can you ask them to keep pricing close to the Ranger please? :) That would make it really competitive!
  4. Price of 2020 Bronco

I bet it's hard for the Ford beancounters to resist pricing it close to the Wrangler if they truly view it as a competitor. Especially since the Wrangler pricing has been raised a few times already since its launch earlier this year. Bet they're just rubbing their hands together every time they...
  5. "Baby Bronco" Teased, Compare to 2020 Bronco

Didn't Ford say Bronco will be hybrid? Why is it not in the second pic-unless I'm missing it I dont see the same boxy silhouette as in the first pic. ?
  6. 2020/2021 Ford Bronco Officially Confirmed!! Returns in 2020 as Global, Rugged, Midsize SUV

I'm loving the "no-compromise" language and i hope they mean it and not just marketing talk. They've already got SUV's to serve the mall crawlers, now give us a true off road capable and fully modifiable Bronco please. Sounds like it'll start production in 2020? As a 2021 model year then?
  7. New Ford Bronco development underway by Ford Australia

Bronco on the T6 will be a legitimate competitor to the Wrangler for those who don't care for Fiat-Chrysler cars. Combine those people with owners loyal to Ford and you could have a sales coup.
  8. Next-Gen Ford Bronco Confirmed by UAW Chairman, Production at Michigan Assembly

We know that aint happening but this is pretty much a done deal far as Im concerned. If the UAW chair doesn't know the plans we're all screwed. The contract says "no later than 2020" any chance it'll get here sooner? new Wrangler is coming next year they best get on it!
  9. New Ford Bronco needs removable top. Don't doom it like the FJ Cruiser + Xterra

I doubt Jeep will completely abandon its open air motoring experience. They know that's a bit part of what draws its fans to the car. The permanent roof structure is probably a result of rollover protection regulations so I doubt the new Bronco will be able to go full topless design like the...
  10. Yet another article: 5 Predictions for the New Ford Bronco

"Plus, once Ford’s off-road icon returns, expect it to have the two-door SUV field largely to itself; bigger than a Jeep Wrangler, but smaller than the Tahoe, Ford is aiming for a sweet spot that that has been largely ignored in the SUV segment since 1996." The problem is in order to be a...
  11. New Ford Bronco will feature aluminum body?

It was supposed to ride on the compact SUV CD2 platform same as the Escape. In some ways it's better for a clean slate this time around it should be Body on Frame. I don't know the exact weight savings for the F150 but it was huge.. something like 700 LBS i wanna say.
  12. Early Bronco Needed, Not Another late Bronco SUV

That's well said. Question is how many of the loyal and hardcore Jeep crowd will buy into it even if Ford created a direct JK competitor. For the masses of people who recall the Bronco they are not old enough to associate it with the early Broncos. Most of the young crowd Ford is targeting now...
  13. New Ford Bronco will feature aluminum body?

For what it's worth they were aiming for extremely light weight with the 04 Bronco concept. It weighed only 3100 pounds. Granted I would expect a new Bronco won't be quite as stripped down and no frills as what they created for the concept. All the investment in the all aluminum body F150 has...
  14. How many doors should the Bronco 6G have?

Rumor is the Wrangler is set to gain in length and size when it gets redesigned in 2018, due to popular demand. I can't understand why people need so much comfort and legroom in a vehicle designed for offroad utility.
  15. Half cab

It also spreads the cost out among multiple models since the bulk of the costs go into the platform and the majority of the parts would be shared anyway. The biggest risk besides Ford screwing it up somehow, would be for it to be too costly to build like how the FJ Cruiser was discontinued for...
  16. 2004 Bronco concept revisited...hunting for clues

Hmm I never realized it had a nearly full glass roof until seeing that first picture. I would loved to have seen them remove the rear portion of the roof and add the roll bar accents. Those Baja Broncos were bad little things..
  17. Why bring the Bronco back now? [Article]

The Bronco might actually benefit from higher gas prices. The shift from cars to SUV's is permanent (until it isn't) so if gas prices rise people will just buy smaller SUV's. Maybe then a 2 door Bronco would a hot ticket if they don't make one from the get go.
  18. How many doors should the Bronco 6G have?

I think sharing the Ranger platform will lend itself better to a 4 door Bronco. The only thing that makes me question it is Ford has many 4 door SUV's in its lineup and the Bronco is really a pretty niche vehicle always has been. IF there's demand for it (which is questionable when looking at...
  19. Will it be a NA Ford Everest?

I'm wondering if the new Bronco will basically be a North American Everest? For those that dont know it's a 5 door SUV variant of the Ford Ranger (T6) 4 door pickup truck designed and sold in Australia and a few asian markets. It's billed as being offroad capable but it's more on the plush side...
  20. 50th anniversary Bronco Concept

As you guys might know the 50th anniversary of the Bronco is this year and there are going to be some events celebrating it. The Carlisle is hosting one on June 3, 2016. Any chance we get to see a concept of the 6G Bronco there??
