I bought a house and it's always off-road. This damn housing market forced us to go above our initial budget to get something nice and closing costs are a bitch. Can't do a house and a Bronco at the same time without burying myself so it's on the back burner for now.

Depreciation is not relevant to someone who plans on keeping their vehicle for 10+ years. And a vehicle is never an investment unless it's an appreciating classic.

Traxxas pretty much pioneered the RTR (Read to Run) genre of RC cars back in the day. They made it a lot easier for people to get into the hobby. And their electronics are honestly pretty decent. Because the brand is so popular you can get a lot of custom upgrades for them.
