The Bronco was designed for off-road use. It was not designed to be a tow vehicle. Same general design as a Wrangler. It works fine with a short extension.
OP needs to apologize to the Ford engineers for an uninformed post.
Why do you think this is a waste of an upfitter switch? This is what they were designed for. Unless you have over 6 uses for the switches?
My Raptor lights are wired to switch #3, fog lights to #4 and Winch isolator to #6.
Based strictly on a fun to drive basis, my ranking of the cars I've owned are:
1. 2004 Mini Cooper S
2. 2018 Raptor
3. 2022 BadSquatch
4. 1969 MGBGT
5. 1996 Mustang GT Convertible
But my overall favorite car is now the 2022 Bronco considering utility, comfort, amenities, and fun to drive.
Going off your username I would think you are well aware of any monetary consequences! LOL
Go for it! Broncos do great in the snow. I live at 8600 feet elevation in Colorado and we have snow and icy roads 4 plus months out of the year. In fact, we're supposed to get more snow tomorrow! My...
Problem solved!!
The plastic cover on the driver's side mirror was not seated correctly. It was very slightly out of place. The camera was in place and the cover had slightly covered the lens. I pushed cover back in place and all is well!
The only thing I can think of is I took it through...
Mirror is in the correct position BUT looking at it more closely, it looks like the camera on the driver's side mirror is out of place compared to the other side. Good call! Thanks!
I'll see if I can fix that.
Answer to Question #1: You bought the wrong vehicle.
Just a guess here, but I suspect the same answer will apply to Question #2. And Question #3. And . . .
I went with the JROAD double layer table. Seems very sturdy and it's pretty inexpensive compared to others. The install was no-drill and easy. A bit tedious, but easy. Installation manual is printed too small to be useful but the video covers every step very well.
It has the Molle panel...
Very nice storage platform that your buddy built. Good solution for building a platform that has easy access to the stock jack storage area.
Looks like you're all set for adventure!
Nice build. I like how you've used the wheel offset to bring the tires back in. I wheeled with a Bronco on portals last year and it was way too wide. Not only did it look odd, but he ended up popping beads and slashing sidewalls. As I recall he had 3 flats on one trail run!
I have the 12" but 7" would work great. The 12" I bought has a shank long enough and slips in far enough that I can drill new holes to make it adjustable to 12" or 7" or whatever works best. Which is what I plan to do.
