Question for those who have the JRC plate installed. Maybe I should put crazy before "question".
I don't want my winch full-time. If I used properly rated disconnects on the winch by the plate, how hard is it to remove just the plate that holds the winch when not in use? Would using good...
This is my favorite pic! Now you have me looking at these and others. With our 3500 tow capacity, what dry weight max should one be aware of? By the way...where is this?
My dealer came up empty handed for bumper paint. Apparently Ford doesn't have that info. I highly doubt Ford doesn't have the info, they just either haven't released it yet or it isn't any good info for consumer consumption.
Knoxville is tame enough. I hit 1000 on that trail. Old coast road down by Big Sur is basically a fire road. Never engaged 4W. Knoxville you may get away with no 4W.
I'm interested too, but mine came from rock crawling. So a "good" scratch? I'm going to ping my dealer to see if they have any info. I also need to adjust my skid plate. The ends by the fog light pocket can bend easier because there is no support there. So leverage and weight can bend it.
Hard to tell from the pics. Definitely wider than the OG sliders, but not 100% sure how effective of a step there will be. Again, better than the OG ones. After yesterday I can attest that the OG ones work!
@omg_bbq I had found the original thread and asked him. He posted a video and said the trail went on for about another 10 minutes. Has to be the Rattlesnake Creek crossing. Looked like fun!
@Peteduce That has to be the creek based on this image. How did you post the inline video? FYI...I had to pop it out to get it to play. Would not play in the thread. At least in Safari.

@Peteduce Question...was the river crossing Stanislaus River or Little Rattlesnake Creek? If river, is the crossing at the end because I thought the trail ended before then and stayed to the south of the river.
@omg_bbq So my memory is working today. Sourgrass is on our list. My buddy doesn't think his stock 4Runner will make it but we will find out. I heard there is a place where you can bypass a more difficult part.
Knoxville would be good. I did a write up on my first trip there. There is one area you don't want to go. I went in the week so don't know how busy it will be during the weekend. I thought Sourgrass was also more advanced from things I read but have never been so not sure. If my memory is...

Does it matter if you are only using it when off-roading? I guess it could given the popping top drove me crazy. I can't see how you could only use pins, but I am good either way. Just let me be able to take it on/off easily.
Hmmm. If this was easy to bolt on and off (basically just use when off-roading) I would be interested. Then I may not care about sensor relocation but would still be interested in camera view. I would not order one with a bull bar.
Need to know what winches would work.
