I checked two and three above, meaning I love all the new tech in our Ford vehicles, especially the connectivity and Apple Play. Still, if I could get a Bronco with all the new tech and a CD player...
I do the same thing in my 2029 Ranger Lariat and drive around in Sport most of the time unless we are cruising at good (legal) speeds on the freeway or highway. This only works if you like driving in Sport, which I do!
So far, the most fun vehicle to drive ever is my current ride, a 2019 Ranger Lariat FX4 with the Ford Performance Tune & Lift Kit. But I have a 2024 Bronco Outer Banks with the 2.7 Liter engine on order. I take delivery in September, and I expect it will be even more fun than the Ranger! Life is...
Hey, Man, that is an original take on the EG OBX! We have one coming in the fall, yes, EG and OBX, but I will probably leave it alone in terms of mods. Maybe the Ford Tune if it needs one, but otherwise, leave it in stock. You have gone in a different direction, and more power to you! It's too...
Yes, the Bronco OB will be our daily driver, our only vehicle. It is just the two of us; the wife does not drive. I say "will be" because we are still driving (and paying for) our 2019 Ranger Lariat, which we will trade in for the Bronco in September. So, coffee runs, grocery shopping, hiking in...
I did not know that. It looks like I got that order in just in time! I love the (tuned) 2.3L in my Ranger Lariat, but if I plunk down significant money for a new vehicle, I want more power in the bargain! Not because I need it, but because I enjoy it...
I want a Bronco because they are fun to drive, rugged, and elevated enough to handle bad roads and bad weather, but I do not plan on any real off-roading. So, I chose an Outer Banks with high/lux, four doors, a hard top, and the 2.7 6-cylinder engine. I do not take delivery until fall at best...
Thanks for mentioning this. I would not have thought of it otherwise, but Delaware does not require anybody to have a front plate, and I do not want one, so I will tell my dealer not to mount one when my build-to-order Outer Banks comes in.
According to your Bronco's sensors, you have been driving great for the last two and one-half years, but today, you are sleepy and should take a break! A stimulating hot beverage is also recommended (but not necessarily coffee)...
I have been doing this in our Ranger for five years and plan to do it in my Bronco (when it arrives)--it solves the problem for free! Of course, this only works if you like to drive around in Sport (which I do)...
