I did end up doing this. It's been about a year now and NO problems.
I cut the lights. Since the lights have a permanent plastic bonded sealant, all the recommendations (primarily from asian cars communities) lean to cutting the lights. Do not bake, you will just goo it up.

In order to do the winch like I did you will need a support plate for the winch. I got mine from Rough Country. Then you would need to modify the tubes that mount the bumper to the frame. SVC helped me do this, but you would be on your own. Lastly, you likely cannot run the lead out higher on...
I certainly wouldn't. Not enough structural integrity where them lil claws are chomping on the top.
I have this lift in tandem with the jcr top. it loops a fabric support under the top to secure it.

you can get the ones on jcr site (or ones like those). but i went through a bunch of wrong ones in a slide in t-nut style in my search.

It fits nicely on the half-rack. I like it's low profile. I drilled into it to mount it, but you could get creative if you want.
