omg!!!! 7 months!!
well itās already been 2 months trying to diagnose it. at the very least, theyāve been pretty communicative with me and did provide a rental, for which iām grateful. they are a smaller dealer so Iām assuming they donāt have the manpower as a bigger dealerā¦.

UPDATE: well today marks 2 months at the dealership!!!!
yesterday, i woke up and had three alerts via ford pass (power train malfunction, hill assist, & pre collision assist unavailable). it should be noted that i hadnāt received these alerts when i initially took it inā¦..probably inevitable...
UPDATE: my dealer received a bad replacement head from the manufacturer š¤Æ š¤Æš¤Æ!!! HOW!?!!
they expedited the part so it should be here in 1 business dayā¦ 6 weeks and 1 day since itās been in!! Loooong wait, but at least my service advisor has been responsive.

Update: dealership gave me an estimated date of my car POSSIBLY being finished for 3/21.
my vehicle as been at the dealership since 2/19! that is NOT including the two weeks it took to replace the alternator earlier in the month, at a different dealership.
honestly, nothing failed! bronco was great. just had a lot of smoke suddenly coming from the exhaust. immediately took it in, dealership performed a barascope (iām completely butchering that i know) to diagnose the problem and found a leak. cylinder head was cracked.
i have a 2.3L and needed a new cylinder head @ 27k milesā¦. Broncos still in the shop.š (parts on back order)
but I still love her and will keep her forever and just want to drive around. thatās what the warrantyās for. iād still put my order in again given the choice!
UPDATE: *Day 10 at the dealer: Dealer ordered a new cylinder head for the Bronco :cry:borescope test indicated a crack ..... it will arrive in 6 days (estimated). iām only assuming it will be at least another week after that with labor as it seems like a pretty big fix. i also have to remind...
