I have the TAC bumper bar. Got it on Amazon.
I then purchased sensor relocation mounts on JEGS (they were for a different truck, but worked with this bumper bar). Just needed to extend the wiring/sensors myself.
Works for now, but will eventually replace my bumper once I begin rock crawling.
What did you do with your old flares? Were they the Sasquatch ones or the painted ones?
I'd be interested if painted... White would go well with my EG.
Saw on Facebook that it *IS* compatible with the slide-out cargo shelf.
So... I may be ordering this because topless security was always a worry. Now I can throw everything in the back and worry *less*. 😅
I suppose I'll have the cargo slide out cover to give away soon enough...
Without actually having it hand to judge, I can see your points, but not necessarily agree.
With regard to price though, it'll likely be discounted soon during the initial promo run.
In Mabett's words...
Mabett Rear Cargo Lockable Rack Basket for Ford Bronco 2021-2024 2-Door, Luggage Carrier Carbon Steel Organizer, Trunk Interior Molle Panel Foldable Storage
Now, I wonder about compatibility with other Mabett products, such as the Slide-out Cargo Shelf I just put in...
Did you see my video? 👆
5 screws, slide the shelf completely out, and boom, full cargo pocket access. 2 minutes, if that, to access the jack.
If you constantly access the cargo pocket, then, yeah, not sure how it would be addressed. Some locking mechanism and that front half on a hinge?
I did not stand on it, because the hardtop window didn't allow me to without possibly hurting myself 😂, but I did sit on the shelf while fully extended. I'm about 160lbs and no creaks or issues?
I also pushed down on it fully extended and the Bronco would go down with it (bounce), so I'd say...
So I'm liking this slide-out shelf and here's a quick video to access the cargo storage pocket.
Also, I'll be trying to make the slide-out shelf an actual table with this kit from Amazon. Be pretty helpful camping, at the beach, or as needed with my 3 girls 😅.
This is a really nice and good idea!
Price is wow, but hopefully it'll come down at some point.
I wonder what this looks like with the hardtop off and the drivability (noise, wind issues, etc)?
I do like the ingenuity!
Yeah, it's basically responding to all the sensors being blocked by the torrential rain (or snow), etc.
All good. It's just telling you it's a "dumb car" now, so pay attention, you're on your own.
