I ended up loosening the bumper to remove the stock crash bars and then installed the 4WP big wheel crash bars. 2" leveling kit also installed, really makes a difference. Tires next

I will be trying to remove the crash bars this weekend. I'm hoping the plastic cover behind and on the side of the capable bumper removes easy with just a couple of screws. That's the only thing I see that would stop the bars from coming out. The steel doesn't look to be in the way
