I bought the factory option hood lip with the raised hump. Stops nearly everything from reaching the windshield. WAY more effective than I imagined....
It sounds fantastic, and makes driving a joy every day. That's funny, as I researched and chose those specific speakers because I hate bright myself. They HUGE soft dome tweeters, and easy one the ears.
Great interior, except for the part where they formulated door plastics that white streak with even the slightest touch. How you can build cars for that long, and let that happen I'll never know....

Sub is in. I had thoughts of hiding the amp, but the fact is you can't really see it where it sits anyway. By mounting it on top of the box, it will cool better, and any adjustments are certainly easier to make...
It's personal preference, so if you prefer nothing in the rear, go that route. There's a reason EVERY stereo in the world has rear speakers, and it's not exclusively for people in the back....
