Have plans to go with the AAL soon. Will be using it to hold my Power Station, Tent AC, Water, and Thors Lighting Compressor...so wanted something with a lot of space...
I got a reply from ADD when I emailed in a question asking if they had any new Winch Bumper designs in the works. They replied that not in the near future but they are toying with the idea of a high mount intercooler kit and a semi-hidden winch bumper....
I agree with you. There is something I don’t like about every design. For me the Maxlider is the best but I don’t like how they tapered the bumper at the fenders. Should’ve ended it where the body ends IMO. Really disappointed in the ADD Rock Fighter. I usually like their Raptor bumpers and...
Yeah thanks was aware of all of those except the BAMF. I just think the Maxlider is a much cleaner better look that has the ADD Baja type of lines. Obviously it's all subjective opinion. The CBI is the best of those in my opinion though...Cleanest lines
Yeah I'm not inclined to cut on the bumper...I would much rather have a bolt on solution. And sure understand on the bumper is a common thing. Just a personal preference to a solution that sits further down. Think it looks much cleaner. Unfortunately, Maxlider(well ADD for them) is the only...
Question if you don't mind answering? What kind of high cost are we talking about with the increased manufacturing costs? With most of us spending in many cases $3-$5K+ on these winch bumpers it might be something we would all be willing to pay for a save reliable setup. Just something to...
Very informative topic. I'm leaning toward going with the Maxlider Winch Bumper which is made by ADD. Would love to strengthen it as best as possible. I like that the Winch sits lower than any other bumper I've seen. I don't like the look or the idea of the Winch sitting above the bumper.
While there is no doubt California is a huge state and a major market...I would think that there are way more Braptors all over the country combined than there are in the State of California(probably several times as many). Again I'm not saying ignore CA, I'm saying if there is any doubt they...
Pretty ridiculous that insane emissions laws are effecting everyone else in the Country. Come out with at tune...don't sell it in California until it's approved if ever. Simple fix. There are other industries that sell things that are restricted in California. Firearms is a great example.
Thanks, love most of the ADD bumpers but I'm not a fan of the Rock Fighter. The winch sits way to far up high for my liking. That's one of the things I like most about the Maxlider look is the winch sits down low and it's still made by ADD.
I think I'm going to try and likely do the Maxlider...
That looks great! I've been going back and forth with the idea of the Phantom or Bomber from ADD of the Maxlider bumper so I can add a winch. Plan to do a lot of off-roading and don't not sure about rolling without the winch.
After witnessing a demonstration and watching 4 tires go from 15psi to 38 in just under 6min with the Thor's Lightning(lol cheesy name) vs 10+ min for the ARB Dual Compressor I think I'm shifting gears and going that route. They have a mount for the Bronco that goes on the side and uses bolt...
Keep us posted and please take pics of any install. This would obviously be a huge help to the Braptor community looking for a slick solution. I think combination of that DV8 cargo area mount and lines running to an under seat mount would be very workable in theory. I also reached out to Epic...
Been watching the inventories here and almost everyone has Raptors sitting on the lot....many for 2+ months. And currently $7K or more off of MSRP...love it! I plan on grabbing one in a few months but happy I held and waited to do it. Hopefully they are forced to drop MSRP eventually...
Very Cool haven't actually gotten my Bronco Raptor yet but will here in the next few months. I actually was going back and forth on that and the 392. But after driving a few of them I just think the Braptor was a much better handling vehicle, and a better buy with what I would need to do to the...
I think it depends on the color. Shelter Green looks great! Didn't like the Cactus Grey one I saw in person. Thought the 23 looked better in that color IMO. But also off roading changes that. Wonder if PPF will protect the paint well?
