Most uncomfortable seats I’ve ever owned, by far. Only here to add that so you don’t feel you’re the only one. I’ll probably try these seat jackers others are talking about. Can’t make it any worse.
Copied this update from OPs original post in case anyone missed it. I have verifed the same functionality in mine. I NEVER use the built in Ford NAV, so thats why the speed limit sign disappears when I use a route from any app in Carplay. I can live with it lol.
UPDATE: I apparently did not...
Not in mine. Apple or google maps, or Waze, with a route enabled, no speed limit indication on IP. Have never tried the built in Nav, and never will lol.
If you have an active navigation route, the speed limit in the instrument panel goes away, dumb AF. An update changed that long ago. Otherwise it should be there. Any trim.
It should be, if you can find a dealer who will put in the replacement. Its been a hit or miss, because Ford was denying things for a long time, and some service writers remember the denials and wont put in new requests for what's been denied in the past.
I'm guessing you had an early version of the skyrider. That cable stop broke on mine and several others around here when first released. Bestop will replace the cable. Surprised you never noticed, well you did notice all the noise the broken tension cable creates lmao.
What gets lost in all the fangirl nonsense around here, is that this would not be a common "complaint" if Ford was capable of designing and building a halfway decent hardtop.
Unlocking with the FOB does not lower the window unless the Bronco was built after July 23. Unlocking with the handle does too for the new ones. Supposedly working on an update for the rest of us.
Absolute shit design and implementation.
They finally changed the way they operate recently, using the obvious methods some of us have been screaming for. Hopefully the new software trickles down to the rest of us.
SSM 51895 2023 Bronco - Window Short Drop Function Enhancement - Built On Or...
There is no sensor of any type to trick with a zip tie lmao.
I finally just turned lane assist off because of this horribly calibrated warning message. The ancient ping pong version of lane keep we got is useless to me anyway.
Seatbelt was also main source of my rattling. I have doubts replacing those two piece clips will help anything, definitely not in my Bronco. Line everything possible with Kilmat and adding rubber washers top and bottom of all sub enclosure mounting locations. Fixed mine 95%.
