This is why you shouldn't buy "grey market" vehicles.
Absolutely 100% buyer beware.
Also, IF there had been a warranty (newer /lesser mileage)
From what I have read, Ford/GM/Dodge/etc USA will not honor it ...and in some cases , do not want to work on them to begin with.
There are just enough...
Op, look around for small independent, locally owned shops.
That's where I got the best pricing and more importantly, great service and installation. I'd been there a few times over the years and he's always done great work, giving thorough explanations of the repair and what to expect from...
What you posted is an ass raping at that price.
Buy the Ford product from Granger, if you're going to get one.
My original is up this fall, 36 months, I'll probably extend since I'm keeping it, but it has been trouble free thus far.
It's a Base and my biggest fear is the tech, not the major...
For the Ford Bronco factory MIC top?
Unfortunately, yes, very normal.
This is the standard of quality you can expect from Ford for the foreseeable future.
Doesn't happen often, but once in awhile I'll find a pump that is finicky and needs fiddled with.
As others have noted, changing the angle of attack or one of the lower fill rates usually takes care of it.
When that doesn't work, pulling the nozzle out just a tiny amount is the cure, but that...
Greed and ethically challenged.
They figure if folks don't know better, then stick it to them in the name of increased profits.
No different than the paint protection packages, etc etc the finance/sales guys push.
Buyer beware.
Just noticed the seepage stain on my 2021 2.3 also.
I never get why people come here to ask permission from complete internet strangers first.
You have a new vehicle covered by warranty, if there is an issue , no harm in having them take a look at it.
They'll let you know if it's covered.
After reading about the issues with the factory sway bar disco, I view it as a liability, an expensive part known to fail already.
I'd start digging for manual sway bar discos and leave that thing in the dumpster.
Seems like every now and then, these things forget their window settings.
Sometimes it works for months, other times days.
There's a reason they haven't run the "Quality is Job 1." marketing campaign in decades.
I just do a reset and move on.
It really isn't worth the effort to argue with Ford...
... or the failed plug welds on the rear axle, that cause the axle tube to shift while using the much hyped trail turn assist feature?
You know the ones, the ones the warranty denied because "off roading".
What a fucking joke.
It's the RTR grill !!
It has to be the RTR grill !!!
It's like waxing the MIC .... makes the honeycomb pop out!
RTR grills make the transfer case puke!
I haven't used that ...yet.
I like their description, sounds exactly like what a rubber dressing should do.
(freaking HATE shiny tires!)
Pretty happy with the Aerospace 303 I have currently as well. Hides all the scuff marks on our plastic pretty decently.
My 2dr Base has this issue.
No resolution yet.
As usual, "dealer can't replicate the problem."
I now have video of it happening.
What is happening:
Drivers side window.
At Interstate speeds, 75mph or so WITH a side wind FROM the passenger side.
It will literally suck the top of the window out...
