  1. Anyone financing? What rates are you getting?

You think billionaires like Buffet are on this board posting, or do you think I'm a billionaire? They don't care about making a couple thousand on a return. It's not worth their while. Of course they pay cash for small things. They do however take out large loans for huge investments with...
  2. Anyone financing? What rates are you getting?

I keep all my vehicles 10+ years, so again, the devaluation on the dollar is more important than the depreciation of the vehicle. I don't buy stuff I plan to get rid of. Flipping vehicles every few years and worrying about resale is a losing proposition whether you pay cash or not. The asset is...
  3. Anyone financing? What rates are you getting?

Sure it does. If I can make more money with my cash invested than I can save through finance rates, then I'll gladly pay later. The depreciation of the vehicle is less important than the devaluation of the dollar. Sure, I like paying for stuff up front, but I like making money even more...
  4. Anyone financing? What rates are you getting?

Anything under 3.5% I'll finance and most likely pay off early. I figure even in a bad year I'm making 3.5% and my cash is better off working for me than Ford. Now, the best arrangement is if they will allow you to make a large down payment with a rewards credit card without an additional fee...
  5. Can a dealer "redo" sales contract AFTER you sign?

Some manufacturers have rebates that only apply when you finance with them. Honda has several small discounts that only apply when financing with Honda. I've never heard of a rebate that was tied to an extended warranty though. Maybe it was not a Ford discount but an inhouse "discount" if you...
  6. Finance question- loan not on credit report

How? Why? Can't someone make this stop?
  7. Question to all the lawyers and wannabe lawyers on this board

Yes, it actually works pretty well if you know how to use it. Was pointed out to me that more nefarious things are afoot besides people’s search function inadequacies.
  8. Question to all the lawyers and wannabe lawyers on this board

There’s been a huge increase in revived 2 year old threads recently. Must have something to do with the search function as there are just too many to be coincidence.
  9. Granger wire transfer issue

Money be piling up so fast at Granger they can't even count it all.
  10. $46,500 for base+sasquatch, 2.3 liter, manual

For a little over $5K you can add front and rear 4.70 axles with lockers. Might be better if you find a great deal on one without squatch to add gears and lockers yourself.
  11. Wife is ordering a Bronco!!

My wife got a 22 and then traded it for a 23 sport. I thought the 22 was fine, but she wanted more go. It is nice that the seat hugs you once you get above 80mph.
  12. Wife is ordering a Bronco!!

No doubt the Q5 is a fun ride. Glad my wife decided Genesis on her last purchase as Q5s were in short supply. The Bronco, even at $60K is going to seem crude to the level of vehicle she’s used to. Hopefully won’t be an issue, but you may be getting a Bronco 6 months down the road. Not a bad thing.
  13. Wife is ordering a Bronco!!

It will never be a Q5 on several levels.
  14. UPDATED: Granger- No Sale Provision

Ok. I thought you meant one total for sale. Where in Arkansas? Broncos have become a dime a dozen in NWA with several on every lot, including Raptors and you cant drive anywhere without seeing 2 or 3 every 5 minutes.
  15. UPDATED: Granger- No Sale Provision

Your dealership has only received one customer Bronco?
  16. UPDATED: Granger- No Sale Provision

Things must be going bad up North, eh? He’s just asking a question so chill.
  17. UPDATED: Granger- No Sale Provision

What’s the penalty if you do and how likely is the dealer or Ford to pursue those damages? It’s not like the Bronco is a GT.
  18. Order + purchase of Ford Bronco vs Tesla??

No, I didn't miss his point at all, but you seemed to miss mine. What does it matter if I can easily buy a Tesla if I don't want a Tesla? You know, you can also just go down to your local dealership of whatever brand and they've already got brand new vehicles right there to buy with no...
