Yes, my 23 will have this rattle over hard bumps or uneven terrain if does not have enough contact on the front guide section. It is gone when fully rolled up or down. These are pretty much like jeep half-doors. Those you had to add as an option from the factory and the option is soft uppers for a window. I will take a glass rattle any day over a soft upper.

Looking at this from a design perspective, Ford would have to re-engineer the entire door or a new mechanism with stronger clamping force. I am in the same boat as people who say it is a feature or known limitation. Maybe they develop a fix but I think it might be a performance part they will sell. For example, Ford Performance single /DUAL catch cans for 2.3 and 2.7 motors. You don't need a catch based on the design says Ford but why not It will improve...... See where I am going here. My 2 cents here.

They aren’t going to issue a recall because of a noise.
If you have a problem with the window going up or down, that is a completely unrelated concern to the current SSM about a rattle over bumps.
I do have the rattle, I have multiple issues, the rattle in both front windows is what I have been going in for multiple times, and what I reported to Ford Motor Company who told me to report it to NHTSA.

Very disappointing to see that there is still no fix and that current models still have this issue. Went to VT to see the Eclipse and drove down some dirt roads (windows closed) and that was as bad as I have heard them rattle. I have been toying with the idea of getting rid of my BD and buying a Heritage. This has been at the top of my list of must be fixed before I get another. The rest of the car is great, and I love it.

Stumbled on this thread while googling to see if it’s a common issue. Have had our ‘24 big bend a week now from delivery and both sides rattle so it’s still very much on going.

Edit: if this is anyone on here first frameless window this is my 5th vehicle with frameless windows and the only one that’s ever rattled. Never had an issue on my ‘15 mustang.

My ‘24 Badlands also has this rattle but I drove a ‘24 Black diamond at Las Vegas Bronco Off-rodeo yesterday and those windows were solid thru all the trails! Hopeful some solution was found that will come to existing vehicles soon!

The 21 Wildtrack we drove in the Texas Offroadeo last fall was annoyingly solid. I discovered on the 15hr drive down there in our car if I push on the window with my elbow it would give me a temporary reprieve.
