Broken soft top clips - rear panel

I didn't need to do all of that to put in rivets. I did just went were the broken clips were and used that whole. Drilled slowly so not to go into the cloth top on the other side and put rivets in. Holds like a champ. Took all of 5 minutes. Used 3/16 short rivets.

I realized this weekend that a few clips on the back panel of my soft top are broken - passenger side, top corner. Has anyone else had this problem? Will Ford replace or fix the clips? Thanks!

My dealer broke the soft top on my Bronco before I took delivery, but I didn't notice until I stopped to show it off to a friend. Took it back the next morning and showed them the broken clips.

They replaced my rear panel under warranty for the issue the OP has. At the time it took about 2 weeks to get the parts in (Sep 21) no idea what it would be like now.

Anyone found the best way to temporarily clip the fabric to the plastic D-Pillar? Won't be able to bring my car into the dealer just yet and I don't want it to flap in the wind.

Alright after taking it to my dealer, they didn't even repair it. They just completely replaced it.

It's a pretty simple fix...my middle clip broke on one side because window is tight fit...printed off the tsb and made repair in less than 30 minutes...installed about 4 or 5 rivets per side...I know it's under warranty but not worth it letting the monkeys at the dealership do it
