Yup! Right after reservations opened l bought 1800 at $6.60. Not Tesla gains but better than kick to the shins.

too bad $20 now is worth about half what it was then.
Not in Bronco money. I just looked at the window sticker for my cloth seated 1996 Bronco XLT Sport. It has a the 5.8 but is not a Eddie Bauer or anything luxurious. It cost $38,400. Since it came with 3.55s and LSD with quad shock I would consider it Badlands equivilent of its day. Average non squatch Badlands is $48,000. So that makes a $20 bill then $25 now.

Also I bought 100 shares a lil under $7 and have been buying a hundred bucks or so a month since then. I got over $4300 now and paid less than half that. I am personally planning a long term thing with it. I like to put all my eggs in one basket. I also hate eggs.

Yeah, I'm kicking myself a little bit now for not buying Ford. But when all this came out and I looked at Ford's history, I was like why what I buy a stock that performs terribly just because they announce vehicles they can't build.

Been watching it lately and it keeps going up almost every day.. seems statistically impossible because normally there's at least some profit taking.

I still don't think Ford stock is worth that much And I just don't understand all this hype, but it must be because people aren't realizing that they can't build anything, just promise.

Still, I wouldn't mind jumping in for a very short term profit taking... Just waiting for the balloon to pop.

I bought 4,000 shares about 3 years ago for $9.57/share. Almost immediately after purchase the stock dropped to $5-6.00/share. Languished for a bit but when the Bronco came out and talk of the X plan pricing I requested a X plan PIN which I received. A month later Ford announced they would not honor the X Plan for the Bronco. Sold the stock around 12.50/share so a modest gain.

If anyone here needs advice on what not to do with the stock market please let me know. I can be your lighthouse.

Somewhat similar here. I bought around $11 early May and sold at $15 early June thinking it was about to tank before the hard top news came out. Took my quick money and ran thinking I did well. Didn't see it getting to $20.

I quit day trading and playing the stock market game years ago. Unless you are a broker with a 100% positive track record that does this for a living, you might as well go to the casino and play roulette.

I am here to say that purchasing stock in any large corporation has big risks. I have lost big and won big but the stress is not worth it. I have a broker that works for me and adjusts the risks for my age.

Just curious, do you think I should have more or less money? Trying to decide on lifestyle.

Based purely off your current vehicles listed I would say you're a man of means. (y)

I've been buying Ford stocks too, I am betting on the new Federal EV incentive to get approved, $12500, must be a union company, Dodge and Chevy has nothing to offer, Wrangler with 21 miles of EV range and a Bolt with an open recall and stop sale order, makes Ford with F150 EV and Mach E the only EV maker who will qualify for those incentives and has a product to offer.
May the odds be in my favor :D

A badland equivilent Bronco, a high powered luxury sport truck, and a cutting edge breakthrough V8 sport utility. You bet!
I do live a state so fancy we call our porch a "lanai".
