See, 6.3 seconds to 0-60. So much different compared to Car and Driver.

Car and Driver does say this:
Results above omit 1-ft rollout of 0.3 sec

I wonder if the Braptor is nerfed from a dead stop like the sasquatches seem to be. No guts in low gears.

I am definitely enjoying these real reviews and drive updates (finally), but dang, the engine ... My blend date is today, and I love the sound and get up and go of our 392XR. It is just intoxicating. Bummer we won't have that in the BRaptors where it looks to own everywhere else.

the bar to clear for "absolutely awesome" must be very low. Half the article was negatives. Apparently it is slow, rides rough at slow speeds, and the steering is loose.

Not sure we read the same article…..

Always kills me when magazines and youtubers do drag races in an off-roader. Who care about speed on pavement for a machine that isn’t really built for the street? Same for the F-150 Raptor.

The Braptor is for the dirt and sand and no place else. You can’t park this damn thing, it isn’t for your 50 mile commute in the city, and it doesn’t make your junk look bigger. 😲 !……:cautious: no…. So put that tiny thing away. :ROFLMAO:

Just as the article states, it’s for bombing over whatever, wherever without pausing to contemplate if you could.

Not that you’re one, but I know that the mall crawlers and ball player set will all snatch these up and that’s a shame because it wants to see dirt. There will also be several Coyote swaps I’m sure and some guys have the crates on the way as I type.

For the 99% of the time it’s driven on the street, because its not actually a UTV, I would prefer it wasn’t slower than competitors. For the price, this should be quick on the street and amazing off-road.

Just mean it’s not the truck for you or bombing down 5th Avenue annoying all of the yellow taxis.

Never seen me a desert in New York anyway.

I don't care what the vehicle does on pavement, I don't care if the engine doesn't rumble. I just need to know that I can take it out and bring it home with some finesse. I have been beating on my Sas, OBX and even was able to do high speed runs offroad. Very, very fun. I'll have to wait for a BRaptor, but until then, loving the 2.7 OBX in my possession.

It's pretty simple, if the Bronco Raptor doesn't meet your mission criteria, don't buy it. If you need V8 rumble and the ability to take down a teenager at the stop light at a sub 6 second 0-60, don't buy it. If you always want the closest parking spot, don't buy it. Hate 4 doors, don't buy it. Can't live with the "Rolex wearing, limousine-riding, jet-flying, kiss stealing, wheel'n and deal'n son of gun" FLARES, don't buy it. Hate the gas mileage, don't buy it. Not 85k worth of awesome, for heavens sake, don't buy it. Worried your dealer is getting you a coveted "R" spot in two years at $500 below MSRP and it's worth the odds and wait, don't buy it. Hate the colors, don't buy it.

I kind of dig it for all the above reasons so many don't.
