this is absolute bullshit for Ford to allow these plastic clips to hold this piece on. My hand barely slipped and caught the same spot on mine and the same thing happened! You can’t even replace the clips!!!
Totally agree Same almost happened to me you have to baby the rear window in then the sides

Same thing happened to me today. Followed everything to a t and was gentle as I could. Still snapped all 4 on the driver's side. I stopped after that. Idk what ford thought when putting these tiny clips in. Here are some pics of mine after I put the side windows back in.

Don't peel the back corners of the rear window. Just give it a little pop on the bottom and kinda gently pull the top corner down a little and out. Bronco nations video looked like they just pulled it which is why many of us are dealing with this issue. I watched this video and I did exact thing he did and worked great. Idk what the dealer would do but I'd suggest watching the video I did below.

Doesn't the plastic corner stay with the rear window? The one time I removed my top before winter, I left the plastic corners on the rear window.

2:50 or so on the video above.
Yes, they are part of the rear window.

- The proper method is to remove the side windows first.
- Then to remove the rear window you gently pull outward on the bottom right (or bottom left if you start there) rounded plastic pillar. You do not pull at the canvas itself. There is a plastic seam (where the side windows slot into) and that's the correct pull point (at bottom). You pull from the bottom because there is a catch on the pillar that snaps into the slot on the bottom of the rail (see pictures).
- Then the top of the side pillars slide down and out of the slot that is shown with the arrow.
- To reinstall it you start at the top, pushing the tab into the slot with the arrow and then push in the bottom until it snaps. See pics.

Pull Here First (Outer Edge - not pulling the top's fabric)

This hook will pull out of the snap that is part of the metal frame of the Top (next pic):

Here is the slot at the top for the upper part of the rounded rear window pillar to slide into:

Here's to top of the pillar that has a tab that fits into the above slot:

Saw one at a dealership where they were all broken. Wondering when we'll see metal tabs?

Best fix is the one previously posted. I did mine with a Dremel and paper clips, just like MacGuyver
So how excatly did that work, I'm confused on how to attach the wire? Sorry if it's obvious lol
