There's around 3K dealerships in the US that get 1 or 2 mannequins. So that's 4,500 right there.

Wondering the same thing. Guessing Dirt Mountain accounts for some of it, but there aren’t 18k vehicles there.

Even with shipping issues, it seems odd that 41% of total production has not been sold yet. But I know nothing about what post-production to ready-for-sale times should look like in the auto industry.

I guess if you write off all of November production as still in transit, that brings us down to 8k. Maybe another thousand or so still at DM is 7k, but that number could be higher so maybe the truly unaccounted for number is lower than 7k.

Still though, that’s a lot for a vehicle that is unobtanium. Could be that consumers are becoming more price sensitive to lot Broncos being offered at high markups and they’re sitting, but again just speculation.

To bad they haven’t shipped all that they have produced. My has been stuck in production since the 4th and no one can tell me when I will see it.

There are probably at least 5k Broncos that are mannequins, review trucks, Off Rodeo trucks etc. which would bring the number down to 13k or so, with 10k built last month I don’t think 13k in limbo between shipping, dirt mountain, and airbag recall is that far fetched

I assume 21 days of a months production is between ready to ship and final sale.

My July 2020 reservation for a Base 2-door might get built this year, but my July 2021 Reservation for a 4-door Soft Top is getting built in January. My only point being that switching to a Soft Top can get your 4-door built much faster regardless of Reservation time stamp.

Love the fact that Ford is actually building some Bronco's, still rubs me the wrong way that I was part of the first 3,500 reservations for the first edition, Ford Builds over 28,000 Broncos and yet still here I am waiting for delivery...

The Bronco is awesome, integrity and communication at Ford "Not so much".

That B6g negativity in the morning is a whole other level. More than 10k produced is massive. They’re clearly at full production and haven’t even started their 3rd shift yet. The entire backlog should be cleared by summer.

Oh my brother, I don't even know where to start trying to explain how wrong this is. Ford seems to have made it their mission to screw many of it's reservation holders. The Readers Digest abbreviated version is, Ford will surely build more Broncos next year. But, they will not, and have no intention of clearing the backlog of reservations. I see you joined in April, and have probably missed out on a lot of valuable information on how Ford will allocate Bronco's in '22. But hang in there, and you'll see what I'm talking about real soon. Good luck on yours though. I truly hope others are more lucky than I am at getting a build date.

About half the build-dates are going to dealer stock and brand new orders, even loaded 2dr's placed last week or two.

What is your source for this information? Loaded two doors for stock? I find that difficult to believe.

FYI. The off rodeo broncos are all sold. I was told at the Texas off rodeo those Broncos are owned by a third party Ford contracted with to do the off rodeos.

Great to see Ford produced over 10,000 Broncos in November, especially considering the Thanksgiving holiday. I wonder what Ford's future production goal is for Bronco? For comparison, Jeep produced 27,002 Wrangler's in October, 2021. Jeep produced 260,488 units for the first 10 months of this year. Maybe Ford can ramp up to half of that? It'll be interesting going forward.

if they ever ship mine i will buy it and it will be one more sold. wtf 11/1 blend and 11/3 production with no more updates whatsoever. so frustrated with this experience. i dont want my MY 2021 in 2022.

So I'm a straggler with a 10/2021 order for a BD 2.7 MIC w/ mid & tow pkgs. I'm probably still looking at delivery in 2023-24. My consolation prize may be that if Ford decides to make a white metal hard top and/or a hybrid that year, I can convert.

Presently Ford has more than 200,000 orders still unscheduled, with more every week. At this rate 2020 reservations will be waiting well into 2024 at least.

Yeah I mentioned in another post that the allocation system is going to push 2020 reservations to 2023. And even if the allocation system was what we all want it to be, component shortages may still push many of the 2020 reservations to 2023.

That said, I honestly don't think Ford will push reservations to 2024 unless it is something related to the colored hard tops that a lot of people are waiting for. But, 2020 has taught me that I should probably stay out of the prediction business, so you never know.
