Only way to have a chance at a First Edition. Not my preferred method of doing things, but had my hands tied. At this point, Im pretty sure Ill downgrade to a Badlands unless I see them offer a better interior
Iā€™d go for a Badlands if I didnā€™t have a price ceiling ?

Yep, thatā€™s what it looks like. I donā€™t know why it wouldnā€™t be available as a rear three seater. Are interior dimensions more narrow in the two door?
Yes, the seats are between the wheel wells.

You do have a point. However, they have to know that above a certain price point they will lose x amount of the Sasquatch orders and people will just do it after market. Question is what do they think that price point is?
I'm old and have been out of the 4x4 market for a while but my answer to their estimate of a Sasquatch kit would be similar to this: "Sasquatch kit is comparable to a fully decked out Rough Country 4" suspension lift with all items included. Plus $1500 installation charge."

Spoke with a Bronco Specialist at a dealer last Sunday who said minimum he expects Sasquatch package to come in at $2kish, which is pretty reasonable IMO.

Biggest take away is build and price, if it comes out in August, wonā€™t have pricing.

which is fairly enraging
Seems somebody didn't contact the IT PM about a timeframe for "go live". OR they don't give much of a rip about customer service before the sale.

At some point the prices will be known .... the inter webs is saying August for B&P. No reason to be preemptively disappointed. ?ā€ā™‚

Well, we will know within 31 days it seems.

2 things...

Manual will never be offered with the 2.7... Ever it seems... Huge turn off.

The response to front and rear lockers indicated they are optional on sasquatch packages.... I thought they were included.

Not having lockers is a hard stop. It really seems they are forcing autos... Which is a shame considering they have a great crawl ratio for th 7 spd

Actually I am thinking the are excluding the models that already come with a locking diff standard. Wouldnā€™t need to option it
I hope you're right. Would really suck to be expected to spend 4k to go up to a Big Bend getting stuff I don't want just for the privilege of being able to order rear lockers or up 7k to a Black Diamond to get them. Can't imagine Base with auto even if with a 2.3 and Sasquatch would be less than 7k

They are coming in slow so Iā€™ll post here as well unless they pick up the pace:

ā€œActive drain plugs are only available with the rubberized flooring. There are passive drain plugs in all 2- and 4-door Broncos.ā€
Forgive my ignorance, but what exactly is the difference between an active and passive drain in the interior?

Glad they have least confirmed the Sasquatch manual will NOT be available on the 2021 model. Sucks for many, but at least now we know.

When in August is the Build and Price day ?
Weā€™d all like to know. It was mentioned to be in August, but the twitter feed said pricing revealed in the fall which is the end of September and beyond. So who knows.

Yes. But it doesnā€™t say August.

based on the BS responses from Ford it sounds like either -

we get a build and price (sans pricing) in August

or

the build and price will be delayed

either way it seems like we wonā€™t have a handle on the pricing until sometime between september and November (with the courtesy that they wouldnā€™t F us over too hard by not releasing pricing until the last minute when ppl make their order in December)

to me, theyā€™re better off keeping their mouths shut on all these expensive options to keep reservations going in order to hype up the car and the brand. Honestly, they would have been more inclined to release the B&P in August if they got their estimated reservations of, for example, 100k. Now that itā€™s 230k, they are going for the gold medal and riding it out with no pricing transparency for all the ignorant 100 dollar reservation holders to continue be blinded by the cost of the ā€˜wranglerā€™ pricing model. Kind of shitty, but canā€™t blame them from a business perspective.

if they delay the B&P they may get to 400k reservations by December. A vast majority of those people arenā€™t getting their cars until 2022 anyway. Iā€™m personally not expecting pricing until October at a minimum after the way this was handled and responded to.
230 k reservations are now 150k according to yesterdayā€™s updated information

Sounds like you should be able to hose out with the passive system. Advisable to pull carpet first, obviously. Vinyl flooring should have been a stand alone option, honestly.
Did they say ā€œnoā€? Seems like they dodged the question:

4. Rubber floor,vinal interior,sway bar disco,lockers ā€œal a cartā€?
A:
1. We hear you and are listening
2. & 3. These will not be available from the factory
4. Rear lockers are available on most series as a free standing option and front & rear combo lockers are available on all series with Sasquatch.
