It's a 4 door, the black one is 2 door, you can see the pic is from inside the cactus bronco.

Yeah, edited my initial post in this thread:

315 miles to E on 7/8 tank... works out to approx 360 mile range in full tank.

If this is the 4 door that’s a 20.8 gallon tank, which works out to 17.3 mpg.

If it’s the 2 door, 16.9 gallon tank works out to 21.3mpg.

Obviously there’s a lot of room for compounding errors here...”

Trails looked cool but all the pics were taken when the Bronc's were not in the twisties therefore no lifting the tires. not much articulation. A vid of the action would have been much better. Not complaining just pointing out my observation.

I daily a Ranger with no front swaybar(03 stick/stick level II) I was doing science experiments, and never felt it necessary to reinstall. The bronco is much taller. It probably wouldn't go as well. I basically have to have a Badlands now. This feature is gangster, and I'm relatively certain we will be able to program out the threshold speed limiter in the future.

Really want a left/ right "drift stick" equivalent for locking rear tires up like the active cornering on the automatic. They did it for the Focus RS why not an Off-road equivalent for this?

Bronco prototypes off-roading in Colorado.

By @nomadoutfitters:

"Pretty cool morning to be vehicle testing right along with Ford. It was a pleasure sharing the trail with them as their team from Michigan was testing the transmissions in the new Bronco. Have to say well done to Ford, and we’re pretty excited to help mod out a few customer Broncos when they’re available."

These poor people.
Posting what they assume are totally benign pictures to social media and then we get our hands on them and are all like:

That is what we do here @ Bronco6G. Dissect every little snipit.

::EDIT::

Looking at all the pictures, looks like it’s the 4-door... and 17.3 mpg seems totally expected for a vehicle like this.
7/8 of the tank or 7/8 to the reserve? If it's to the reserve, then:

360/(20.8-reserve in gallons) = mpg

I know one thing, I don't need a sway bar disconnect with a button, I have a tool box. Having it on a button just makes me lazy. Besides I might want to go over 20 mph, then what??

Yay. More pics. ?
Love seeing new pictures. Cactus grey looks better and better.
Wonder if they are testing transmissions, if there is a manual there being tested too.
Also love that they are testing them more and more to give a good vehicle in the end.

Yep.
I think the takeaway from this math is that whatever the final MPG turns out to be, it won’t be a shock on either end of the spectrum. Everyone should emotionally prepare themselves for mid to high teens depending on trim. Maybe even just over 20 on small wheels and low suspension.
