Body attached would be surprising, wouldn’t it? I took that screenshot from the video posted earlier, isn’t that a mounting on the frame?

Not that I see. Looks completely body mounted.. The mount for the rail is the very top of your red circle.

Aftermarket will provide, but should have been from the factory. The old adage of do it right or do it again ?

Sorry, I was mistaken

Here is a pic of one of the Bronco test rigs, Body mounted...

Here is the photo from another thread of the Bronco BODY mounted Rock Rails.

Its cool though. I’ll sell mine to someone who doesn’t really need them but likes the look.

I prefer sliders anyway and want them almost as wide as the tires. Getting wedged in between the tire and wheel well sucks.

Personally I wouldn't have it any other way. I'm gonna do body lift for sure and those rails will be perfect! I could always add nerf bars underneath once the body lift is on, but I never have really needed them on my other trucks, and the guys who have them seem to just get stuck on stuff all the time...Less=more. Less junk hanging under the truck = more clearance Clarence!

The jeeps are mounted the same way and they had problems with them flexing and hitting the vehicle leaving a visible crease. Obviously heavy usage. I like them frame mounted sticking out almost as far as the tire with a rear kick out. Slid sideways into a Rock the size of my Fj. The upper body leaned into the rock but the slider kept it Far enough away that I only had minor scratches. I just put those sliders on for that trail. If I had the factory ones I would have suffered a big dent on the rear quarter panel. .

They do make some decent frame mounted sliders, but for my preference they do not stick out far enough from the body to really work as sliders to get you around obstacles. I don't use a kickout on mine, but I do like them to be almost the same width as the tires. The GoRhino one's are probably good if they work for you.

These are what I currently have and they think they will be making Bronco sliders.

Sure we're not looking at the step bars?
Ford says each rail can hold the entire weight of the truck.
Believe they said a rail can support the entire weight of 1 side of the vehicle, not the entire vehicle

Not my pictures. You can have filler plates welded in that basically makes it a step. The next ones I have made will have them as I constantly worry about my dog getting a leg caught in the open sliders.

I have the Rugged Ridge boat sliders that bolt to both the body mounts and the body pinch seam on my 2017 Wrangler.
No cutting, drilling or welding.

They're solid as hell and work well out here in Arizona.
Downside is that they weigh 62lbs each, 124lbs total, on my 2D.
Wouldn't want to guess what the 4D version weighs.

If RR makes them for the Bronco, I'd seriously consider them again. Heavy or not.
