Last year I almost bought a Wrangler. I hadn't really thought I was in the market for one, but I saw the color I wanted - what they call Mojito. Bright metallic green! I did some research and decided a Rubicon was what I wanted, but then I started reading about all the problems with the steering and decided I wasn't going to pay that much for a vehicle with that many known issues.
Enter the Bronco - I'm extremely interested, but would be a definite go with a bright green. I will look at the other colors offered, but it's gotta hit me right. And no, I don't want to wrap a vehicle.
So how important is color to you? Is it a make or break factor on the Bronco?
If Ford was smart they would offer a bright green. In the Wrangler forums the Mojito section has more posts than any other color.
When I was checking out the jeeps I brought my Synergy green Camaro for comparison.
Come on Ford! Give us a green! The Bronco would look great in that color!
It's somewhat important. I just hate white/black/silver/grey. It seems like every car these days are one of these colors and its boring. Not a fan of the super bright colors like that green though either. Gimme something in between like cactus grey or area 51.
It's the main reason I don't own a JL right now. No Gobi, no sale... Planned on buying a JL for years - yes, years. They dropped orange for Sarge Green, but no Gobi (or other conservative, non-gray color).
I have preferences, but in the grand scheme of things it's probably the least important factor for me, among all of the decisions we have to make.
Though in fairness, I happen to like most of the colors shown. Cactus green, Area 51, Oxford White, Iconic Silver, Anti-Matter Blue, Rapid Red... I think all look awesome, and I'd be ultimately happy with any of those.
For me the colour is important, I like green also but more the 4runner TRD green. When I buy I always ask me the same question , Good colour for this years, and what about the same colour in 10 years. So that will take me away from cactus grey or Area 51 because we don't know how these colour will age with time. But we can't have all the same colour, so diversity is the key Ford opted for a diverse range of colour.
