3 broken tie-rods out of however many thousand broncos have been off-roading and you call it embarrassing. There are manufacturing variances involved with any mass produced vehicle, it's possible the OP got one (hopefully only one) from a bum batch.
Go looking for broken X videos (Jeeps, land rovers, whatever) on youtube, there's lot of them.
I suppose the next thing will be watching for people who use these upgraded tie rods for rack failure than.....the aftermarket will provide more tie-rods BUT then the steering rack will be the weak point.

People have been breaking tie rods offroad for decades, even on Rubicons.Dude, this is a mild, very mild obstacle. Ford was showing these broncos on the Rubicon and in Moab. Don't be a Ford apologist, and just admit the parts are weak? A Rubicon would NOT have this happen and if Ford wants to play with the big boys we as customers need to push them to be better.
Obviously no vehicle is 1000% indestructible. But, check out the size of a JL tie Rod compared to a Bronco 6.People have been breaking tie rods offroad for decades, even on Rubicons.
Doesn't change the fact that I'm certain there's more than 3 people on this forum who are routinely taking their Broncos off-road. Say only 100 of them are (seems a reasonable number to me) this is a failure rate below 5% (so far, admittedly)
That may very well be a valid comparison, but, we do know that they're two different systems which may also account for the different designs. Also, larger does not necessarily mean stronger in all cases.Obviously no vehicle is 1000% indestructible. But, check out the size of a JL tie Rod compared to a Bronco 6.
How many is that out of the 26k built so far, about 15? There are bound to be some early issues with a first year model.Broken tie rods, blown 2.7 engines, recalled hard tops, air bag recall, cv clips busting off, radiator hoses failing off, brake booster issues, electrical issues, any thing else I miss?
You can break anything if you try hard enough. For the 90% that will never go off road, the factory setup will likely never have an issue. Why is this happening?! I thought Ford torture tests their vehicles?!

Are these the upgraded part?Camburg has replacement tie rods on their site but are almost 600$
