there have been more than a few CV failures as well already but seems the tie rod or the 2.7 in general has the most failures. I know this is the first year but seems to be weak.Good point but I don't see the CV as a fail point yet, BroncBuster is on some nasty tires with a manual with wheel hop and they have not popped, they won't with stock and 37" tires either.
Spare tie rod ends seems like a simple answer - make note of the thread count before as well so the alignment will stay close.
