I'm a big fan of this color. Thinking about this and getting red accents inside the trail sights and figuring out a way to get red seats. I'm worried I might not like it as much with the molded in gray hardtop though. I really wish that was black. Feels like that contrast would look much stronger. I guess we'll see how much extra it is for the shadow black top...

I hope that it does. I see the same greenish hue, but can't be sure.

Definitely down to CG and AMB (white top 4 door OBX).

while I like CG more than AMB, I definitely know I want a white top and think the white top may go better with AMB.

I was leaning to Carbonized Gray, then, last night I mowed the lawn on my Craftsman Rider...Ewww it's Carbonized Gray with Black trim...now I'm not so sure...Do I want my pride and joy to look like a lawn mower?

If I get a conservative color CG will be it. I agree the painted black top looks best but I am sure I'll get the molded in CG hard top. I'll be removing it every summer and I know it will look better longer.

Yeah, on the website it absolutely looks like a dark green. But, I think it is the lighting play tricks on the prerenders. Honestly, I think the screenshot that @395N posted from the YouTube video is the most realistic of what to expect from the color:

When you zoom in, this looks far more a dark "grey" than "green". It basically the new popular dark grey color you see on other cars. Although, you can see how lighting will play tricks on it. You can look at my avatar for a representation of what Ford's site currently shows (green) versus the picture above (grey). Just be sure to zoom in closely to see the color. (Edit: Changed avatars)

Honest to God, the worse part of trying to decide on which color is that I've counted about six different representations of every single color they are offering in various photos. I see one photo of a color and think "that looks great" and then see another picture and think "I definitely don't want that color" and then I find out they are the same color. UGH.

I think this is the "best" picture of carbonized grey though (it terms of what it will really look like). But, who knows? I hope that by December they have a least real photos, in real world lighting conditions to allow everyone to make an informed decision.

I’m gonna order mine in gc and I want the color matched modular hard top and I would do the roll bars the same color if that is an option

It would be great to see an image of the color matched top on the 4-door. Hopefully when the build and price site is up.

My exact issue... I want to see the AMB with the white top... may seal it otherwise 50/50 AMB or CG with the painted black

after seeing grey on the mach-e im acually disappointed. would have liked the darker with some color changing like the mineral greys depending on light.

Carbonized Grey is a fantastic looking color. If my first three Ford's weren't grey this would be a top choice for me haha.
