So a couple times a year, I go hunting for a week-10 days, sometimes in more remote areas (2 hours from a gas station). Extended range would be a really really nice feature for me. I have never seen it mentioned, and I think it would be awesome. With the already kind limited cargo space, especially on the 2 door (which is what I think I want) i would really like to see an option for a big tank. Or an auxiliary tank.

There's a dupe thread on this.

I want this as well. Give me two tanks, just like the Hummer H1. Thank you.

Got to look at it as the glass if half full stand point. The Bronco will already have 1 more gas tank then the new Hummer ?

If no one does delivers on the extended tank, all you need is a couple of jerry cans and a dude named Marlboro in the back seat with the top off!

I would like to see this, but not at the cost of delaying production...

Not gunna happen. Tanks now have to be mounted inboard because of lawsuits, making them hangy downy and small, not to mention in tank fuel pumps for economy, emissions and vapor control. Essentially aux tanks are illegal.

to answer your question, yes. I remember the days of dual tanks and it was stupid. My dads Chevrolet would never switch tanks when you needed it and my Ford was too expensive to fill both but got horrible mileage running on a single tank. Jerry cans are easy to carry and stow for those that think they can’t go without it

It's no more expensive to fill 2 tanks, than fill 1 twice? My 68 f250 still switches between tanks flawlessly on the stock mechanism (and the gauges even still work,) as does my dad's 96 f250 ,(one gauge is sketchy) . And yes. Gas cans are easy to stow, but as I already said. The cargo capacity isn't huge in these vehicles. I'd at least like to see a bigger tank, if not an aux.

I remember there being a video just after the launch that showed off the G.O.A.T. modes.

In that video you can see the fuel reading said "1050 miles to E"

in this video you see it about 14mins 15secs in
