Apparently Ford sends it to you. Something I may never see being a Grangetober order...

(no offense to Granger Ford. My choice to stay with them after Ford screwed them) 👍

Wow. A 2012 Bronco is truly one of the rarest vehicles ever!

Just joking. Nice rig and congrats!

The first thing I did when I got this was add the stripe. I ordered the strip in advance of the vehicle arriving so it was sitting here waiting. The weather was right on day 2, so the strip went on.

I bought the stripe from @Ridergraphix I couldn't be happier about the early interactions with them. Very responsive to requests.
https://ridergraphix.com/store/2021---up-FORD-BRONCO-GRAPHICS-and-STRIPING-c55391005

Here's a quick before and after. I know the color looks different in the pics, but it's the same camera phone. Maybe different lighting. Maybe the stripe makes the camera sensor do something different.

I did a post in Rider's thread. The summary was that this was a lot of work. It took me about seven hours. But I was really pleased with the result. After four months of driving, I can say that this graphic is holding up without any issue.

Tires and wheels project

New sneakers arrived on pallet.

Ford Bronco Big Red - 2021 Race Red Badlands 7MT Tire

New wheels
The 13.5 wide tires necessitated a 9.5" wheel. I wanted white wheels (or chrome). This bolt pattern, and wanting to minimize the negative offset to just what I need to clear the components, narrowed my wheel choices down to very few. In the end, I dropped the color requirement because that is the most limiting element. White is not in right now.

For anyone asking, I liked the Fiftee52 Analog HDs but they are too narrow for this tire. And the Black Rhino Solids are wide enough but at -18 the poke is way too much for me.

These Black Rhino Deltas are +12 offset. That should be 1.18" more tucked in than the -18 offset.

White powder coat by Advaced Finishing. So far, this is exceeding my expectations.

I may spray bomb the center caps with chrome. Not decided. Open to feedback.

I'm gonna have to pad out the center of the caps with epoxy to apply these vintage hub decals. No biggie.

Tires currently being mounted to wheels with new tpms sensors. Wheels, centering rings and sensors from BB Wheels.

Getting fired up for fat-ass thirty-fives on white spoked wheels!

Mounted and balanced. Looking good. Should be installed next week. Gotta do the level lift and waiting on the side steps.

Let's get these tires installed. I'm putting in the Rough Country 1" level lift. The instructions had some glaring gaps and if anyone is DIY-ing that kit, let me know and I'll give you a few important updates.

Also removed the crash bars.

Remove the front strut.

Put it back together with the spacers and a little bit of new hardware.

et, viola!

The only related item is to get the center caps sorted. I am going to experiment with the fifth one and see if it is worth painting chrome. I also really need the steps now. They are ordered.

to be continued...
Great wheel setup. Though, I can feel the road noise from those Mickey Thompsons.

agreed. I am used to this since I have run Pro Comp X-Terrains on my Defender 110.

But clearly, I'm not focusing on over-road performance. Prepared to lose all of my dental fillings.

I'll be driving it around today after the install. I'll report back only if the road noise and vibration is less than expected.

Update...
The ride at low speed feels like square wheels. The faster you go, it diminishes to a whine. Less worried about dental fillings, thinking rotator cuff. But look at it!!!

Oh, and here is a shot with a new tire on front and old on back. Everyone concerned about poke. They are 13.5 tires on 9.5 wheels at +12 offset. I think this is the best I could hope for.

Gonna swap to SAS flares, soon.

Wow great build!
I'm a fellow RI'er, just got my bronco and started ordering parts. Hope to see that beast on the road one day, I know I won't miss it.

installed the zroadz sliders. They are nice and I'm happy with the look and the slider functionality. They can carry the weight of the rig.

If your primary goals are steps and/or tire spray protection, there are probably better solutions. For steps, these seem a little low profile. They do work as a step, but more deliberate steps might stick out more and lower (more functional).

For road spray, this rig needs mud flaps. There's no other answer. The vehicle is a shit magnet. And I know that the wider tires and offset wheels are a big part of the issue. But my point is that these rock sliders don't stop tire discharge from getting all over the side of the car. -whether that is rocks, mud, or liquid.

That's some chonky rubber!

The road spray is nuts and now that I moved my tires out the sides are covered in filth instantly. I'm just going to suck it up and buy a car wash membership. I had big dreams of only doing hand washes but ain't nobody got time for that.

I see a Bronco just like this in Duxbury time to time. Looks good. My two door should look similar soon enough.
