The Front skid-plate works for a 2dr Outer-Banks with the OEM plastic front bumper, the Gearbox skid-plate and Transfer Case plate also works for a 2dr Outer.

That’s great…..Now will these plates work on a Base Model or Big Bend? Personally I have a Base Model on order and it seems that most aftermarket manufacturers are designing things for upper model Broncos.

People like myself bought a Base Model because we could care less about all the extras and looking to the aftermarket to build our Broncos up with money we saved by not going to a higher trim level.

Unfortunately it seems that we are being snubbed because we did not spend a bunch of money at the dealership!!!!

Aluminum is definitely nice, but for rock crawling it doesn't slide. HDPE or UHMW would be the better material. Not cheap but slides well and very protective.

It might, and the odds are it will. But the way we work is that we only state a fit after we have test-fitted it and we haven't test-fitted it for the Base model yet.

As far as I know, the Base model is based on the Outer-Banks model. But because we haven't installed it on a Base model we can't guarantee a 100% fit.
