I just saw a mention of this on the Motor Trend web site. They state the rumor is Ford has discontinued the Base and will add the Heritage . The article doesn’t provide concrete evidence of this but it has been published none the less.

Heritage is a better name than Base anyway. "Base", what were they thinking?I just saw a mention of this on the Motor Trend web site. Aka constrant . The dealer said they dont have info so i sadly cansel my order today . I didnt want to up my trim . Ford can go fly a kite
Lol. It is taking me to Big Bend now when i do that. When I was building before it did the samething to me.As I found... You can access the entire 2-door base B&P... You just have to go to 2-door Black Diamond, add Mid, click on manual tranny, and BOOM you are in the Base B&P.
Its all good they have #rockstars there.I work in IT, and this would likely be a significant issue to be fixed promptly, given it is customer facing and having potential impact driving sales. Odd this build functionality is left broken for days, it's right there in the main build page, and prevents access to all base builds.
Per my recollection of the early materials; "Base Camp". A place to start from.Heritage is a better name than Base anyway. "Base", what were they thinking?
The Everest Base Camps are at ~17,000 feet. The only "vehicle" that can get up there is a yak. Lends some cachet to the Bronco trim name.Per my recollection of the early materials; "Base Camp". A place to start from.
Sounds like standard modern journalism there. The article doesn’t provide concrete evidence of this but it has been published none the less.

If the change to Heritage name ends up jacking the base cost, that will be the last straw of this whole drawn out vehicle launch.I just saw a mention of this on the Motor Trend web site. Congrats. I'm very close to convincing my wife to order a 2dr base. Very close........yet very far.I just placed an order at my dealer today for a 2 door Base model in Eruption Green. 2.3, Manual, Aux Switches, Modular Bumper and Roof Rails and got my email confirmation from Ford an hour later
