Holy cow. Today is my day--I can't believe it's here. I reserved this beast exactly 18 months ago.

So I found this at my dealer yesterday. I am very happy I didn't change to a 4 door. She gets thirsty when you put her in 4H but she very stable in the slush so give and take.

Hope all of you still waiting get yours very soon!

Noticed my first rock chip on the hood today, just under 500mi in 🥲 they grow up so quick
Bummer! I'm getting mine wrapped in two weeks and trying to keep it in the corral until then.

I'm not too worried about it honestly -- I'd much rather have a rock chip on the hood where it's easy to fix/respray one day, then take a rock chip on some other body panel or even my windshield. Thankfully, the only other exposed panted pieces on the front of the Badlands seem to be plastic.

I noticed on my RS that because of how thick Ford's paint is in spots, when the front of your car takes a rock it does one of two things:
- hits a plastic panel, plastic absorbs the force, deflects the rock, and a paint chip doesn't occur
- hits a metal panel, metal doesn't deflect out of the way, rock chips off all layers of paint (clear coat, top/base coat, and primer)

Wrapping will definitely help, but I'm rationalizing it by keeping in mind it's an off-road vehicle meant to get a little dinged up 😅

For all you 11/22/ peeps out there that have not received there Broncos yet, hang in there, mine arrive on Thursday and just picked up today ,was smiling to whole 2-1/2 hrs drive home it was great.

And a big thanks the van cleve ford in Morton Wa , I didn't pay a penny over MSRP and only 8.1 sales tax compared to the 10.1 tax in Seattle.

Got my tint done and am loving it. 20% nano ceramic on the front windows are almost a perfect match to the rears and 70% on the windshield.

May I finally introduce Billy Bronco!!

Picked up on Thursday the 13th. As easy and fast as could be. So smooth. All points for ford Pass went well. Ordered a few goodies. The Bronco runs so nice! Waiting for my running boards to arrive.
Enjoy all🤗

I'm sure this isn't the correct thread to ask this question, but does anyone know where I can find out what the normal temperature range should be for the oil and the transmission? I have the 2.7L and the 10 speed auto. The water temp is in the middle of the cold to hot and the oil and transmission temps are averaging 200 degrees.

I don’t know the optimal temps on a per engine level, but your coolant should be right in the middle of the bar, and oil temps of 200F aren’t concerning to me at least. Once my 2.3L 7MT gets up to temp the oil hangs out around 185-190F mostly. The water temp gauge I’m sure isn’t an actual read out but a “middle is good, red is bad” indicator. You’ll know when it gets too hot 😂
