Also for everyone that is waiting on their bronco with the 2.3 I have to say I'm very impressed with it, with the SAS package. It's pretty peppy. Have no complaints was worried about it a little bit but honestly I think it's feels peppier than the 2.7 on my f150 lol

Busy weekend. Forgot to update. Bronco is at dealer. Went and saw it. There was a weird credit issue with payment. We will be delivering a better check this week and bringing her home!
Mom with her new toyโ€ฆ.

will get a duo picture of her and hers and me and my tundra upon delivery. Just picked wheels up from powdercoating today. Sneak peak..

I've been posting in the 12/6 build week, but I'm not sure where I belong LOL. Blend date is 12/4 build date is 12/6. Still no Bronco and nothing has shipped.

You belong in our build week. I was a 12/4 blend also. My sig has the rest of the details.

The build weeks seem to be just an artificial way that Ford clumps builds to manage their work, and are not necessarily constrained to the actual calendar week. For ours, the 11/18s were late 2-3 days, which made the 11/22s push a couple of days late too. And that meant we didn't start until Wednesday, 12/1.

Couple of observations and notes from picking up the Bronco today:

1. The hard top definitely still has wind noise. I understand it's still a convertible top vehicle but I guess I expected it to be less.

2. I noticed a few scratches on the hard top. Nothing that kept me from taking delivery but I guess they still can't figure out how to get these transported so that the owner has the first chance to scratch the top themselves.

3. The comments on the GoodYear tires (at least the ones on Sasquatch package Broncos) about them holding and throwing rocks are 100% spot on. Strongly considering mud flaps and I hate mud flaps on vehicles.

4. The MGV seats are fantastic as well as are the washout floors.

5. The Sasquatch package looks fantastic - Ford nailed this one.

6. The B&O stereo is much better than the standard stereo. I had considered adding aftermarket speakers but I'm pretty sure I'll be fine with stock... for now anyway. I have a hard time not tinkering with stuff like this. The 12" screen is also fantastic!

7. The Ford rubber mats are great but I'm looking for something with better coverage. Thinking Husky X-act Contour in the front and middle and Husky Weatherbeater for the cargo area.

8. The antenna bends significantly at highway speeds. I've never seen an antenna that is so flexy. Has me strongly considering a stubby type antenna.

9. Visited family after picking up the Bronco and it's clear that most people are going to think that the door sill is a step. Some type of PPF in that area is going to be a must.

10. Didn't think of it until later but while completing paperwork today, we completely forget to apply the $100 deposit towards the price of the Bronco. Hoping to get that fixed and also trying to verify that I am getting the extra 20,000 thank you points.

11. The tire dressing that Ford supplies the dealerships must be the slickest, glossiest stuff on Earth.

Yes the rock throwing is very annoying, and just like you I hate mudflaps. Seem some on the Ford website that I liked and aren't ridiculously priced or looking but don't fit the sasquatch wheels. So I'm trying to find something just for the front at least because I despise the mud flap look on the bronco lol

Say... that's a nice bike...

And it def leaves you more room than my roof-mounted ski rack leaves me. I need to unload outside, and then drive into the garage.

Tadah!

Ford Bronco ๐Ÿ›  11/29/21 Build Week Group IMG_9460

It's kind of weird that my truck is on the ramp here with nothing behind it? It was a December 06 2021 build date and not the last one to be built that week yet this picture makes me think it is on its own.

At least I got the picture even if it is more than a month after the fact.

That's it. I've had it with all of these recent deliveries getting their baby pics when my Bronco was delivered weeks ago and I still haven't received anything! Not a pic. Not an email. Not even an email to say I won't be getting a pic!

All kidding aside, it is kinda cool that your Bronco does appear to be kind of alone.
