Does it show the locations of the attachment clips for the interior panels? I would like to pull the cargo area panels to do some installation work and I hate when I miss the position of a clip and snap it off. Just want to make sure I'm getting the right thing - I have a Bentley's for when I had my Z3 and it was great at pointing out the hidden stuff...
Yes, it shows everything.

Connect a temporary external CD reader, make an ISO file and store on your internal SSD, and mount as a virtual drive. Then you can use your laptop w/o CD.
The ISO is not required. After installation, you can simply copy the CDROM to hard disk.

1) add external USB CDROM (temporarily)
2) install normally (setup.exe on CDROM)
3) verify that it works
4) copy the CDROM to a directory on your local disk (e.g. C:\2021_Bronco_Service_CDROM)
5) remove the CDROM
6) use notepad to edit the c:\TSO\tsobrowser.ini file to specify fixed disk (type=1) and directory

I wish they would come out with a printed version. Other than ease of searching, a digital copy is a disadvantage.

Another tip.

If you are unable to view the wiring diagrams, install the SVG file viewer manually as administrator (right-click, "run as administrator"): <cdrom>\tools\adobe\win2k\svgview.exe

where do you adjust the file/directory name? Is that in the registry or a file that was copied from the cd?

Ive had the full workshop manual for a month now. Its in digital pdf format and its saved in my macbook & iphone. Close to 15000 pages if you include the wiring manual.
Which one did you get?

Where would someone get this manual?

Neither. In step 6, you modify one file in the installed directory (normally c:\TSO). In other words, it must be installed in the regular manner first, then you copy the CD, then you modify it to use the CD copy on hard disk rather than the actual CD.

Thanks for the link!

I don’t typically like running emulators. If I decide to get the service manual I could use my work PC to open it, then once I have it in PDF format I can open it with any Mac PDF reader (Books, Acrobat, Word, Pages etc.)

But, as you pointed out, there’s always a way.

If you get the digital version it works on Mac. Works fine on my Mac, iPad & iPhone. My fancy windows laptop just sits here and only used for FORScan edits.

But, cd’s are so 1970. I can’t view them on my iPad or my new laptop.
But you can hang it from your rear view mirror!

Ooooooo
..shiny!

(and the ‘70s were the prime of my life
..I think
..)
