I would prefer a solid front axle but if (probably) we do get IFS....please leave enough clearance for chains.
(I know most mfg say not to do it but some of us still do).

hey man, I know you are new, so maybe someone hasn't told you. But your truck, it is on it's side. They don't work well that way.

I'll take either one.I'm kicking myself in the ass, back when I was in the military and had money to blow on beer, a 72 half cab was about 3k. now they're 30k in need of a completely new body and frame. that was only a few years ago too. The only 3 on the tree I've driven was a late 60s bronco, just on base for a few miles because my bud was too drunk to drive.

If it gets the same front end as the current Ranger that won't work from what I've seen.
