I think the faded top gives it a really authentic baked in the sun retro look.

2 door 4 door - get what you need. Imo the best would be a 2 door in a 4 door length like the Bronco R ( I know is has no doors).

Here's my thought on the plastic fender flares:

Nope that one is Ski Mom hahahaha
Nothing shall steal the soccer mom crown from the almighty minivan. Until ford announces the newest member member of the Bronco family, the 6 door, 6 wheel drive Bronco minivan.

I read somewhere that Ford expected low numbers for the 2 door, same as Jeep.
Based on this website - with a more heavily pro-2 Door lean - the 4-door leads 2/3rds to 1/3rd of reservations.

Outside of here, it has to be much higher, I'd wager.

The newness of the Bronco is fading on me. Its starting to look just above average.
That's probably because of so many that have no clue what they want. So many are playing follow the leader and will buy what someone else gives them a thumbs up weather it meets their needs or not. I chose exactly what I want from day one and if it's too costly, I'll move on. I won't be changing color or options because someone else is doing it and posting negative opinions of others choices.

There’s a reason they’re plastic...
Just the thought that comes to mind when discussing the flares. I don't think there's anything wimpy about painted or metal flares. They're replaceable if they get damaged and if you're constantly beating them up then go with the plastic ones. I'm not doing the Rubicon in my new $60k (or more) truck so I don't need them plastic. Even if I did do any rock crawling I would take the flares off. I don't recall plastic flares being available on any EB.

I used to live in Metro Detroit before I escaped to NC and it was definitely fun to see the new cars out and about way before they were "on the lot." Never forget driving home on 696 and a Chevy SSR drove up next to me and I was thinking "wtf is that?" Also have a good friend that was a lead designer with Chrysler back in the 80/90s and he was always swinging by in Stealths, Vipers, Crossfires and other crazy things to beat on. But, the winters are long and I enjoy the NC mountains much more - can't wait to get the Bronco!!!!

Because of exactly this thought, and after seeing the 2- and 4-doors take on real trails, I decided to go with a 2-door instead of a 4-door. At first I thought I really couldn't justify another 2-door off-road specialist because I have no plan to dump my FJ (still don't). But the more I see of the 2-door Bronco in action for real (and not all CGI'd), the more I am convinced it's the badass pony to parlay. All that said, I'm a mid-50s dude with a grown-up kid. So your logic is multi-threaded.
I’m with you, mid-50s, kids have their own cars. Time to buy for myself, 2-dr manual.

Why is this sitting in someone's driveway? I didn't think these were out yet?

I think most negative reactions are because the car is painted black. All the details are hidden. If this were painted in a bright COLOR, the roof/grille/running board would all pop and be complementary to even out the look. With everything cloaked in black, it reads more as typical suv, and puts thoughts of soccer moms in your head.
This! 10000% agree. This is not a vehicle that should be purchased in black. Like a Mini Cooper Or a Jeep even too many design details and curves that are lost when black.

Gonna make a really unpopular opinion here. Try not to stone me to death...

But the 4-door feels "soccer-momish" to me. I dunno. The 2 door just seems like it was built to maul like a cougar and the 4 door feels like a kitten.

This is also coming from a mid-30 year old dude with no kids, so I have no use for a 4-door. So, likely just biased.
Agreed. I like the looks, it has more clearance and it saves a little money. Since the 2 door only seats 4, my six year old would have to stay home alone. As much as I tried, I couldn't convince my wife this was a good idea.

Agreed, the only way I am keeping the 4 door we reserved is if it is lifted with Sasquatch feet .... but with no lift and Weenie Tires.... it is Soccer Momish

I am so trying to convince the wife to do the 2-door. We have Crew Cab F150, so why do we need the 4 Door...... However, as easy as that sounds, she is holding strong.......

I think they certainly could be white.......
Not sure I'm on board with that ?
I'm planning on the white roof so white handles would look good in that scenario.
